A lighting apparatus includes a first semiconductor light source configured to produce a first primary light beam, a second semiconductor light source configured to produce a second primary light beam, a phosphor volume configured to at least partly convert primary light into secondary light, a first deflection element configured to deflect the first primary light beam onto the phosphor volume, a second deflection element configured to deflect the second primary light beam onto the phosphor volume, a first light sensor which is sensitive to at least the primary light, and a second light sensor. The first deflection element is partly transmissive for the first primary light beam. The first light sensor can be irradiated by the component of the primary light beam which is transmitted by the first deflection element. The second light sensor can be irradiated by light which can be emitted by the phosphor volume.

Lighting apparatus

A light source arrangement is provided. The light source arrangement may include a plurality of semiconductor laser light sources arranged in such a way that the laser light emitted by the semiconductor laser light sources is aligned in parallel, and a deflection unit configured to collect and influence all beam paths of the laser light emitted by the semiconductor laser light sources so as to form a beam. The deflection unit has a first mirror element with a concavely curved surface, which is embodied to capture and reflect the laser light emitted by the semiconductor laser light sources by the surface. The light source arrangement may further include a second mirror element with a convexly curved surface, which is embodied to capture and focus the laser light reflected by the first mirror element.

Light source arrangement having a plurality of semiconductor laser light sources

A light source arrangement is provided. The light source arrangement may include a plurality of semiconductor laser light sources, each having an optical axis. The semiconductor laser light sources are arranged in such a way that their optical axes are oriented parallel to one another so that respective laser light emission sides of the semiconductor laser light sources point in the same spatial direction. The light source arrangement may further include a deflection unit configured to collect and influence beam paths of the laser light emitted by the semiconductor laser light sources in order to form a beam bundle. The semiconductor laser light sources are arranged on a surface of a carrier, distributed at least two-dimensionally over the surface.

In various embodiments, a lighting apparatus is provided. The lighting apparatus includes at least one light generating device configured to generate at least one polarized primary light beam; and at least one luminescent body, separated from the at least one light generating device, which can be illuminated by the polarized primary light beam. The at least one polarized primary light beam strikes a surface of the luminescent body at a Brewster angle, and is p-polarized in relation to this surface.

The invention provides an illumination device comprising a pump light source and a phosphor wheel. The phosphor wheel comprises at least two segmented phosphor layers. The front surfaces of the phosphor layers do not form a common plane, but instead a kind of relief in which the surfaces of the phosphor layers extend in different imaginary planes. When the phosphor wheel rotates through a beam waist of the pump. light, in this way the size of the pump light spot and therefore also the power density distribution of the pump light on the respective phosphor layer are adapted.
