A device for anchoring at least one fastening element in a laminate structure having at least two layers comprises a fastening element, and a carrier assembly on which the fastening element is mounted. The carrier assembly is designed with a protruding rib structure which radially outwardly surrounds the fastening element, resulting in a transmission of force into the laminate structure that is conducive to long-term stability of the anchoring.

A setting tool having an engagement structure for setting a fastening anchor comprising a receptacle structure implemented in a shaft, the engagement structure engaging with the receptacle structure during a setting procedure. The fastening anchor can thereby be reliably brought to the setting tool and applied in a yielding soft material.

A device for setting fastening elements, wherein a master shaft rod is provided, which can be driven to rotate via a drive unit and moved via a motion link control and which carries an axial force transmission part. A pressing force of a pressure force sensor unit exerted on a setting location of a fastening element can be initiated via the axial force transmission part, via which a release indicator can be actuated, with which a release signal can be output by the pressing force upon reaching or exceeding a predetermined setting force. The fastening elements can thus be applied having very precisely defined setting forces in respect of location and value.

A fastening element includes a holding part with a support plate and expanding cheeks, and a locking part guidingly received in the holding part. The expanding cheeks include cantilevered walls formed adjacent the support plate, which are offset radially outwardly with respect to a guide wall of the support plate which guides the locking part. A device for connecting at least two belts, the belts having transversely oriented connecting bars. The device includes at least one longitudinal wall and at least one edge wall opposite the longitudinal wall and formed on a base plate. Hold-down means are present between each longitudinal wall and each edge wall. At least one of the longitudinal walls and the edge walls has at least one attaching recess in which at least one connecting bar is inserted for securing belts retained by the hold-down means in the area of the base plate against displacing in the longitudinal direction.

The invention relates to a device for setting a fastener element () having an inner pin () slidable relative to an outer body () and comprising a locking arrangement () comprising a bolt () provided for acting on the inner pin () and secured in a retracted position against axial displacement into an advanced position after relatively spacing a handle body () and an actuating organ (). When the actuating organ () is actuated by a displacement opposite the retraction direction, an unlatching organ () acts on the locking arrangement () and releases the bolt () for displacing into the advanced position. Very simple handling of the manually actuated device is thus ensured.

An engagement unit for insertion on and engagement with a threaded bolt () is provided with an inner part () and with an outer part () that can be slid onto the inner part (). The inner part () and the outer part () are configured with torque receiving means () for transmitting a torque applied to the outer part () to the inner part (). An apparatus for setting fastening elements () has a feed drive (), by means of which the connecting elements () can be fed to an installation position, and a setting device which has a setting tool and by means of which a fastening element () arranged in the installation position can be ejected to come into engagement with a support part. Also present is a drive mechanism, which is provided with a drive motor that has a rotatable drive shaft () and is coupled via a transmission arrangement () to the feed drive () and the setting device (), and with a control arrangement for setting the direction of rotation of the drive shaft (). In one direction of rotation of the drive shaft (), the transmission arrangement () couples the drive motor () to the feed drive (), and in the other direction of rotation of the drive shaft (), it couples the drive motor () to the setting device. The apparatus is therefore relatively easy to handle.

Apparatus for setting fastening elements

The present invention provides an arrangement of fastening elements for holding bundles retained by cable ties, and a method therefor. The arrangement of elements includes a pair of strips removably attached to a sequence of fastening elements, whereby the pair of strips facilitate the transport, readying, and positioning of each fastening element prior to interaction with the cable tie. Also provided is a method for molding the arrangement of cable ties in which the cable ties are advantageously used for retaining bundles of cables, pipes, and similarly elongated items.

A device for binding bundles of cables uses a continuously fed cable tie to bind the cables. The cable tie is wound around the bundle of cables by guide claws. The cable tie is secured by a latching lock which can be positioned in front of the guide claws. The cable tie is then cut off in a non-tensioned state behind the latching lock. While bundling the cables, a fastener can be positioned at the bundling location next to the latching lock if necessary. The fastener is configured so as to anchor the loom of cables to a support element. A carriage which can be shifted in the binding device, positions the latching locks and fasteners. The carriage includes holding jaws and a carrier which clutches the locks and fasteners fed from above. The carriage carries the parts to the outlet of the device at the transition area to the guide claws of the device. A feed channel is provided in the carriage. Said feed channel overlaps with the outlet of the insertion channel for the cable tie in the housing when the carriage moves forward. In this position, the cable tie can be pushed through the latching lock because an insertion tab which is connected to the carriage.
