An electrical machine including a stator, a rotor and a bearing arrangement having a first bearing and a second bearing on opposite sides of the stator as well as a shielding arrangement comprising a first shielding unit and a second shielding unit. The rotor is rotatably supported around a rotation axis by means of bearings. The shielding units are electrically conductive and comprise a ring part in each case that extends originating from a radial inner end to a radial outer end away from the rotation axis. Preferably each shielding unit has a circumferential part on its radial outer end that extends in a continuous ring-shaped manner around rotation axis and is arranged in overlapping manner with the adjacent axial end of stator winding in axial direction. The circumferential parts are preferably completely closed, whereas the ring parts can comprise through holes.

A master-slave system includes a master unit having a digital output for providing a signal or a serial signal sequence of signals, and at least two slave units. Each of the slave units includes at least one digital serial memory having a size of one bit, and each slave unit includes an input and an output. The slave units are serially connected to one another via the inputs and the outputs via a signal line (). The output of a first slave unit is connected via the signal line to the digital output of the master unit. The master slave system is configured so that a signal supplied by the digital output is detected at the input of the slave unit, in order to raise the address of the corresponding slave unit in each case by the value '1', to store the signal change in the memory and to output a signal corresponding to the content of the memory at the output of the memory.

Dynamically addressable master-slave system and method for dynamically addressing slave units

The present invention provides a high-pressure blower comprising a fan arrangement which includes a fan, and a fan housing for conveying working air. An electromotor drives the fan via a motor shaft to provide motor self-ventilation by generating a cooling air stream flowing through the motor due to a cooling wheel driven by the rotor. A wall section separates the interior space of the fan housing accommodating the fan airtight from the interior space of the blower accommodating the electromotor so that the cooling air stream flowing through the electromotor is separated and independent of the air flow of the working air conveyed to the fan.
