The invention relates to a device and to a method for dynamically calibrating pressure sensors. Pressure acting upon the pressure sensor is compared to a corresponding desired parameter by means of a device according to the pistonphone principle, from which a calibration value c is determined. The aim of the invention is to provide a method and solution which enables a primary calibration of the dynamic ratio of a pressure sensor to be carried out. This is achieved by the fact that the device is only statically determined by respectively a housing to actuator connection and actuator to piston connection, and the piston is sealed in the cylinder with respect to the ambient atmosphere by a seal and is moveably arranged in the seal, and the change in pressure corresponding to the actual valve is calculated.

Device and method for dynamically calibrating pressure sensors

A device for testing an inertial sensor for a vehicle, which includes at least two attachment points, having at least one first oscillation body to which the inertial sensor is fastenable/is fastened, and having at least one first excitation module assigned to the first oscillation body for accelerating the first oscillation body in at least one direction. At least one second oscillation body is spaced apart from the first oscillation body, to which at least one second excitation module is assigned for accelerating the second oscillation body, and that the inertial sensor is fastenable/is fastened with a first attachment point to the first oscillation body and with a second attachment point to the second oscillation body.

Device and method for testing an inertial sensor

A vibration exciter with load compensation for the dynamic excitation of test specimens includes a base, an actuator, an armature which can be moved by the actuator in an excitation direction relative to the base and guided by a linear guiding element parallel to the excitation direction, and a pneumatic load compensator which compensates for the gravity force of at least the armature and the test specimen being excited. A high-quality low-perturbation exciter signal is generated by minimizing friction and other nonlinearities occurring during the load compensation. The linear guiding element of the vibration exciter with load compensation includes an air bearing, and the load compensator includes the linear guiding element.

The stimulation of waves in bars, in particular at high amplitudes, is used for the calibration of acceleration and force sensors. A method and a device for calibrating acceleration and force sensors employing a Hopkinson bar for controlled influencing of the signal form, the signal amplitude and the pulse duration of the signals over a large amplitude range, is provided. A reference sensor and the sensor for calibration are arranged on the Hopkinson bar. At the end of the Hopkinson bar opposite the sensors, the stimulation is carried out by an electromechanical actuator for converting an electrical signal into a mechanical force. The electromechanical actuator may be controlled by a control and regulation electronic circuit. A targeted influence and change in the acceleration and force pulse form can be achieved.
