For improved durability during use in a microwave oven, and at the same time, good readability of a smart label, it is provided that a flat RFID inlay made up of an RFID chip and an antenna is applied to a metal shield that is made up of at least two mutually overlapping foil sections. A recess in the foil sections is enclosed by the antenna of the RFID inlay. When such a smart label with the metal shield is applied in advance to a microwave dish, and a shielding element that is impermeable to microwave radiation in the microwave oven is temporarily overlaid on the smart label from the opposite side, such a smart label can be used in the microwave oven without damage, but remains readable outside the microwave oven, and without the shielding element.

The invention relates to a method for producing a three-dimensional shaped object without height limitation by means of layer-by-layer material application, wherein geometric data for the shaped object, a substrate part having a base surface for holding the shaped object, flowable first and second material, and a transfer body are provided. Material portions of the flowable first material are applied to the base surface and/or to a solidified material layer of the three-dimensional shaped object located on the base surface in accordance with the geometric data in order to produce a material layer of the three-dimensional shaped object. The material layer consisting of the first material is solidified. A surface region of the transfer body is coated with a layer of the second material, and said layer is brought into contact with the surface of the topmost solidified material layer of the three-dimensional shaped object facing away from the base surface in such a way that the flowable second material is transferred from the transfer body to the surface of the topmost solidified material layer of the three-dimensional shaped object and forms the further material layer on the surface of the topmost solidified material layer of the three-dimensional shaped object, the structure of which further layer corresponds to the structure of the topmost solidified material layer of the three-dimensional shaped object. A method for producing a portable data carrier by means of a continuous production method, in particular a roll-to-roll method, includes the step of processing at least one foil in the form of roll goods. The unrolled foil is coated with an adhesive at least partially on at least one side. Subsequently, the foil is scored along at least one fold edge on at least one side of the foil. The foil is then folded along the scored fold edge in exact register and bonded. For this purpose the foil is folded in the direction of the side that is coated with adhesive, wherein the side coated with adhesive is arranged on the opposite side of the foil which has at least one scored fold edge, along which the folding is effected.
