A device for actuating a park lock in an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle, in which a gear position selector can be used to set at least one drive-, neutral- and park position. When the park position is selected, a park lock that is operatively connected to the automatic transmission can be actuated, and it can then be activated or deactivated with an emergency actuator device that can be operated manually. The emergency actuating device has a toothed wheel (gear) that can be made to engage with a spur gear that is configured as an intermediate toothed wheel (gear). A first engaging element engages into a control cam provided on the spur gear and, when the spur gear moves, the first engaging element can be moved in order to activate and deactivate the park lock in the control cam.

The invention relates to an actuator, comprising a drive () that drives a drive shaft (), a first actuating element () operatively connected to the drive shaft () for actuating a switching apparatus, a spring element (), which can be supported at one end on a housing component () of the actuator and is supported on the other end on a second actuating element () designed to load the spring element (). The actuator according to the invention is characterized in that a rotatably mounted rotational element/gearwheel () that can be driven by means of the drive shaft () is provided, which rotational element has, on one side, a first control gate (), which is operatively connected to the first actuating element () for actuation of the switching apparatus, and on the other side, a second control gate () for loading the spring element ().

A shifting device () for an automatic gearbox of a motor vehicle has a housing () and a selector lever () for selecting a gear stage which selector lever is guided in the housing (). The shifting device () has an automatic shift gate () and a sequential shift gate (), and the housing () has fasteners (projections and recesses) () for fixing the shifting device () in the motor vehicle. The housing () can be fixed in a first position for right hand driving and in a second position which is rotated by 180 degrees relative to the first position for left hand driving. The fasteners are arranged point-symmetrically in order to rotate the shifting device () by 180 degrees, with the result that the respective fastening points coincide with the original fastening points after the rotation and the fasteners are fixed on in each case the same motor vehicle-side fastening points.
