A hydrostatic axial piston machine () with a cylinder barrel () having at least one piston bore () in which is located a power unit piston () supported on a cam disk (). A control surface () is stationary relative to the housing and is on a control base (), against which control surface the cylinder barrel () is in contact. In the control base () there are a kidney-shaped inlet connection () and a kidney-shaped outlet connection (). The sealing web surface on the control surfaceon the control base () in the vicinity of the inlet connection () is reduced, so that in operation as a motor, when there is a pressurization of the inlet connection (), a reduction of the hydrostatic relief force is achieved. In operation as a motor, a residual application of the cylinder barrel () against the control surface () from a hold-down force of a hold-down spring () that is in an operative connection with the cylinder barrel () and/or pressing cylinder compression forces is preserved. In addition or alternatively, the terminal areas of the kidney-shaped inlet connection () of the control base () have a transitional contour (K) in the shape of a flattened arc in the radially outer area.

Hydrostatic axial piston machine

A hydrostatic axial piston machine () has a housing (), a rotatable drive shaft () mounted in the housing () by a bearing device () that comprises at least one roller bearing (), a cylinder drum () having at least one piston bore (), and a longitudinally displaceable piston () in each piston bore. A spray jet lubrication system () for the roller bearing () includes at least one lubricant spray jet () directed toward the area of an axial edge () of an inner ring () of the roller bearing () with which the roller bodies of the roller bearing () are in contact via an end surface.

A hydrostatic axial piston machine () utilizing a bent-axis construction has a driveshaft () with a drive flange () rotatable around an axis of rotation (R) inside a housing (). A cylinder barrel () has pistons () fastened in an articulated manner to the drive flange (). The drive flange () is supported on a housing-side slide face () by an axial bearing () in the form of a hydrostatically relieved sliding bearing () having a plurality of slippers (). Each of the slippers () is mounted in an articulated manner in the drive flange () so that when the drive flange () rotates, a compensating force (F) acts on the slipper () which is in the opposite direction to the centrifugal force (F) acting on the slipper (). The point of application (AP) of the compensating force (F) on the slipper () is selected so that there is no tipping moment on the slipper () or to compensate for some or all of any tipping moment that does occur.
