A method of making a composition for spray application onto surfaces of a cotton fabric includes mixing together a wetter, a reactive dye and water to form a first solution, adding a thickener into the first solution for between about five minutes and sixty minutes to form a partial composition, and adding an alkali with the partial composition to complete the composition.

Composition for dyeing of cellulosic fabric

The composition that permits spray dyeing of a cellulosic, such as cotton, fabric or garment. The composition includes a wetter, an alkali, a reactive dye, a thickener, and water. The present compositions are made by first mixing together the wetter, reactive dye and water to form a first solution, then mixing the thickener into the first solution to form a second solution, and thereafter mixing or merging the alkali to the second solution within thirty minutes prior to spray application onto the cellulosic fabric or garment.

The present invention provides a composition that permits spray dyeing of a cellulosic, such as cotton, fabric or garment. Processes for dyeing fabric are provided. The process can include continuously moving the fabric in a machine direction; removing folds or creases from the fabric; spraying a first surface of the fabric with a dye; and exposing the fabric to atmospheric steam after spraying the dye on the first surface but prior to the dye drying on the first surface so that the dye migrates from the first surface to a second surface of the fabric and reacts with and affixes to a component of the fabric.

Processes for spray dyeing fabrics

A garment is provided that has a support region and a foam pad at the region. The foam pads has at least one auxetic foam layer. A garment is also provided that includes at least one auxetic foam layer.

The method includes removing folds from the fabric, spraying a dye on a first side of the fabric, and exposing the fabric to a migration and fixation process prior to the dye drying on the first side so that the dye migrates from the first side to a second side of the fabric and reacts with and affixes to a component of the fabric.

An automated process is provided that includes loading a blank on a carrier and moving one of the carrier or the blank to more than one of a number of stations. The carrier has at least a portion with a desired shape that provides the blank with a stretched condition. Each station performs an operation on the blank while the blank is mounted on the carrier.
