The invention relates to a transport device () and a method for distributing a plurality of similarly shaped and dimensioned articles (). The transport device () comprises an infeed () for conveying articles () in a mass flow, and a distribution section () downstream of the infeed (), where the distribution section () leads into a row transport (), where the articles () are conveyed in at least two separate parallel rows (). The transport device () also comprises at least one sensor device () signal-coupled to a motor-driven actuator () assigned to the distribution section () In the event of detected gaps, interruptions, or in the event of a detected termination of the mass flow within the infeed () or within the distribution section () or within the rows (), the actuator () moves a movable steering device () adjoining the mass flow.

Transport device and method for distributing a plurality of similarly shaped and dimensioned articles

The invention includes a method () and an apparatus to handle irregularly conveyed and/or irregularly aligned and/or non-upright articles of an article stream under prevention of disturbances. The method () comprises the following steps: identifying at least one non-upright article in an article stream as an error; performing a correction step to resolve the error, the correction step comprising removal from the article stream of the at least one irregularly aligned article, or transfer to an upright orientation of the at least one irregularly aligned article, with a defined action being exerted temporally before and/or in temporal overlap with the correction step upon the at least one irregularly aligned article or upon regularly conveyed articles of the article stream.

Method and apparatus used to handle non-upright articles of an article stream under prevention of disturbances

In an installation for the treatment of containers, comprising at least one filling station and a packing station for processing film or packaging material blanks and having work components acting upon the packaging material and forming packages, at least one measuring device for dimensional deviations of filled containers, and a control unit for automatically adjusting at least one installation station depending on a dimensional deviation detected, work components in the packing station (P) acting upon the packaging material when the filled containers are packed are automatically adjustable by way of the control unit. In a method for packing filled containers, work components of the packing station acting upon packaging material are adjusted automatically depending on dimensional deviations measured in order to form packages of different dimensions with at least substantially the same packing density.

Installation for the treatment of containers, and method for packaging filled containers

A transport device and a method for the transport of articles are disclosed. The transport device is provided with a plurality of single lanes for the single articles having a width (BE). Each single lane is provided with one separating element. Adjacent single lanes are separated by one of the separating elements. The widths (BE) are adjustable with at least one displacing means. At least two adjacent single lanes form a group of lanes with a width (BG). Several of the groups of lanes formed in such a way are slidable to each other. The widths are adjustable with at least a further displacing means.
