There is provided an illumination system () for cultivation of aquatic animals. The illumination system () comprises at least one light source () emitting light, at least one light driver () arranged to drive the at least one light source (), at least one light sensor () providing illuminance data for at least one point of interest () in said illumination system (), and a controller (). The controller () is adapted to provide control signals to the at least one light driver () driving the at least one light source () to emit light of a desired illuminance at the at least one point of interest (). An ambient light sensor may be applied to determine control signals also in accordance with ambient light data.

Illumination system for cultivation of aquatic animals

An illumination system for cultivation of aquatic animals is disclosed for cultivation of aquatic animals in a volume of water, the cultivation using a feeding system defining a feeding axis in the volume of water. The system comprises at least a first illumination surface positioned in the volume of water and arranged for illuminating the feeding axis. The system also comprises a second illumination surface positioned in the volume of water and arranged for illuminating the feeding axis. The first illumination surface and second illumination surface are different surfaces arranged to illuminate the feeding axis from substantially different directions.

The present invention relates to an end cap () for a tubular light source the tubular light source configured to be arranged in a lighting fixture comprising a socket, wherein the end cap () comprises a housing portion having a connection end, two connector pins () at least partly arranged on an outside of the housing portion at the connection end, wherein the connector pins () are configured to fit in the sockets of the lighting fixture, a first spring loaded switching element () configured to be alternately positioned in an actuated state and a non-actuated state, wherein the first spring loaded switching element () protrudes at the connection end of the housing portion in the vicinity of the connector pins () when positioned in its non-actuated state, and a second spring loaded switching element () configured to be positioned in an actuated state and a non-actuated state, wherein the switching elements () are configured to be individually positioned in their respective actuated states to form an electrical connection between the socket and the tubular light source when the end cap () is mounted into the socket of the fixture.

A lamp comprising a driver assembly, the driver assembly including a driver board with driver electronics, at least one point light source and a heat sink, the heat sink including a top side and a bottom side, a central space extending from the bottom side to the top side and adapted for receiving the driver board of the driver assembly, a zone provided at the top side and adapted for receiving the at least one point light source, wherein a plurality of fins adapted for dissipating heat are extending on opposite sides of the central space, and an extension of the central space in at least one radial direction of the heat sink is larger than an extension of the zone in the radial direction of the heat sink such that the central space is provided with at least one section arranged offset from and radially adjacent to the zone.
