A network node, a wireless communication device and methods therein for monitoring interferences between a number of groups of wireless communication devices and configuring SL resources for the number of groups of wireless communication devices in a wireless communication network are disclosed. The network node configures a discovery signal associated with an identity and configures which wireless communication devices in which groups to transmit and/or receive the configured discovery signal. The network node determines whether the number of groups of wireless communication devices () are isolated from each other based on a report related to the discovery signal and decides whether or not to reconfigure the SL resources for the number of groups or rearrange the wireless communication devices in the groups based on the determined result on whether the number of groups of wireless communication devices () are isolated from each other.

Network node, wireless communication device and methods for configuring side-link resources in wireless communication network

The present disclosure relates to telecommunications. In one of its aspects, the disclosure concerns a method in a coordinator User Equipment (UE) for registering a group of UEs to a wireless communications system. The coordinator UE represents the group of UEs. The method comprises transmitting, to a Radio Access Network (RAN) node, a message comprising a group IDentity (ID) to initiate an authentication and security procedure to register the group of UEs to the wireless communications system. The group ID identifies the group of UEs.

Apparatuses and methods for registering a group of user equipment

The present disclosure relates to telecommunications. In one of its aspects, the disclosure concerns a method in a source User Equipment (UE) for group transmissions in a wireless communications system comprising a group of UEs, including the source UE. The group is assigned a first group IDentity (ID). The source UE has data to be cooperatively transmitted by the group of UEs in a group transmission to a Radio Access Network (RAN) node. The method comprises transmitting, to the group of UEs, a SideLink (SL) message. Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a radio unit () for controlling power levels of spatially separated transceivers (-) connected to the radio unit () via corresponding antenna ports (a-j). Each transceiver (-) is capable of performing measurements on uplink transmissions from wireless devices in a wireless communication network (). The radio unit () receives, from each transceiver (-), measurements on uplink transmissions from wireless devices. Then, the radio unit () determines, for each transceiver (-), a load based on how many wireless devices that have the transceiver as the transceiver with the most relevant measurement for its uplink transmissions. The radio unit () also controls a power level of at least one first transceiver () based on at least one of the determined loads for the transceivers (-). Method and device(s) for supporting charging relating to a group transmission in a wireless communication network, said group transmission involving a group of wireless devices configured to, via one or more direct communication links between each other, participate in data transmission between a source wireless device and the wireless communication network. A method performed in a User Equipment (UE) is disclosed, the UE being operable to connect to a communication network. The method includes transmitting a path request message requesting a path for transmission of data to the communication network, the path request message including an identifier of the UE, and receiving at least one path message including an ordered list of identifiers of mobile nodes and of a base station node of the communication network that form a path for transmission of data from the UE to the communication network. Methods and apparatus are provided for selecting a next hop for a data packet. In one aspect, a method in a first node of selecting a next hop for a data packet includes determining a volume that is at least partially located between a first communication device and a destination node of the data packet, determining at least one moveable communication device located within the volume, and selecting one of the at least one moveable communication device as a next hop for the data packet after the first communication device.

The present disclosure relates to radio network communication. In one of its aspects, the disclosure presented herein concerns a method performed by a first UE for transmitting group Buffer Status Reports (BSRs) for group transmissions to a Base Station (BS) in a wireless communication system. The wireless communication system comprises the BS and a plurality of UEs, including the first UE. The plurality of UEs are assigned to a group, wherein at least one of the UEs within the assigned group has data for group transmission to the BS. The method comprises transmitting, to the BS, a group BSR. The group BSR comprises at least one identifier identifying a request for SideLink (SL) transmissions within the assigned group and identifying a request for cooperative UpLink (UL) group transmissions of data by the UEs within the assigned group to the BS once the SL transmissions to the UEs within the assigned group are completed.

Apparatuses and methods for using group buffer status reports

A method for enabling group transmission among devices capable of Device to Device, D2D, communication in network having a base station. The devices have a group coordinator may directly communicate with one another over a D2D link. The group coordinator device is arranged to communicate with the base station over a cellular link. The group coordinator device sends a Scheduling Request, SR, message requesting grants for both D2D and cellular transmission. The group coordinator device transmits a Buffer Status Report, BSR and receives a grant for said the D2D and the cellular transmissions based on the transmitted BSR. In one of its aspects, the disclosure concerns a method in a BS for time domain resource scheduling for group transmissions in a wireless communication system, which comprises the BS and a plurality of UEs, including a first UE. The plurality of UEs are assigned to a group. At least two of these UEs have data for group transmission to the BS. An aggregated BSR comprising BSRs from the at least two UEs is received from the first UE. A method for enabling group transmission in a telecommunication network including a group having plurality of devices capable of Device to Device, D2D, communication and a base station. The group has a group coordinator device and the plurality of devices may directly communicate with one another over a D2D side-links. The group coordinator device communicates with the base station over a cellular link. The method includes receiving, by the group coordinator, data from a device of the group utilizing a D2D grant for performing D2D communications within the group. The D2D grant has a D2D time resource indicating a D2D time resource in which the D2D communications are allowed, transmitting, by the group coordinator, the received data to the base station at an uplink, time resource. The uplink time resource is determined by adding a fixed, predetermined, time offset to D2D time resource in the grant.
