A moveable partition system includes a main wall member and a telescoping member disposed in telescoping relation with the main wall member. The telescoping member extends between the main wall member and a structural body to connect the wall member to the structural body. A securing assembly secures the telescoping member to the structural body; and a support member engages the structural body opposite the securing assembly to distribute the load of the securing assembly on the structural body.

Moveable partition system

A fume hood includes a housing with wall panels disposed in side-by-side relation and a top member disposed substantially perpendicularly to the wall panels. Connecting blocks which engage edge portions of adjacent panels connect these adjacent panels together. Clip members defining recesses for receiving edge portions of wall panels or of the top member secure the wall panels to the top member.

A fume hood with an adjustable baffle system includes a housing with a chamber and a baffle system disposed in the chamber. The baffle system includes a plurality of baffle plates and a plurality of support brackets for releasably securing the baffle plates in substantially end-to-end relation in the chamber. The support brackets allow adjustment of at least one plate to vary the gap or distance between the plate and an adjacent plate.

Fume hood with adjustable baffle assembly

A cantilever arm assembly and its associated structure for modular furniture systems, such as laboratory and office furniture systems, in which such cantilever support arms may be connected to slotted standards at selected elevations to support worktops, cabinet units, shelving, and the like. Each arm is rigidly joined to a vertically-elongated mounting member equipped at its upper end with a series of hooks receivable in the slots of the standard. At its lower end, the mounting member is equipped with a locking element movable between extended and retracted positions and, when extended, projects into one of the slots of the standard to secure the mounting member against upward movement that might result in unintentional unlatching of the hooks. In addition, the locking element, when extended, causes slight pivotal movement of the mounting member to force hooks of the vertical series into tight wedging engagement with the slotted standard as well as to adjust the support arm into level condition.
