A method and apparatus for removing a pre-determined electrical trace from a printed circuit board to manufacturing a printed circuit board with options corresponding to a specific catalog number. The apparatus comprises a computer numerically controlled milling machine control by a computer having a processor installed with a software program. The method comprises installing the software program into the computer and inputting a catalog number into the computer. The software is used to define a catalog data table that corresponds to the inputted catalog number. The catalog data table matches a cut data table whose information provides operational commands to control the movement of the cutting element of the milling machine. Once the catalog number is recognized by the processor, an operator is prompted to load the printed circuit board onto a work surface of the milling machine. Using the operational commands, the milling machine begins to mill the printed circuit board to remove the pre-determined electrical traces. When the determination is made that the pre-determined electrical trace is removed, manufacture of the printed circuit board with options is complete.

A lock-down device for use in a circuit breaker assembly. The device comprises a base for releasably securing the device to the assembly's saddle, an arm portion connected to the base, and a hand portion, connected to the arm portion, for engaging the housing of a first circuit breaker such that when the first circuit breaker and a second circuit breaker is mounted on the saddle the hand portion is intermediate the first and second circuit breakers and the first circuit breaker cannot be inadvertently removed from the saddle. In an alternative embodiment, the hand portion of the device comprises flanges for engaging and permitting the lock-down of the second circuit breaker as well.

A magnetic flux concentrator trip unit for molded case circuit breakers in the form of a flux concentrator magnet arranged round the load strap at one end of the circuit breaker is positioned in magnetic proximity to an armature. Current transport through the load strap generates attractive magnetic forces to articulate the circuit breaker operating mechanism when the current exceeds a threshold value.

Low voltage electric switchgear equipment includes a central processor unit electrically interconnected with electronic main and branch circuit interrupters within the same enclosure and used within a multi-phase power distribution circuit. A terminal connector block is connected by cable with each of the electronic trip units within the branch circuit interrupters to provide communications between the branch circuit interrupters and the main circuit interrupter for continuously updating the status of the branch circuit interrupters and their associated electrical equipment. Strain relief is provided to the cable connecting between the terminal connector block and the branch circuit interrupter to prevent damage to the electrical components within the electronic trip unit that are internally connected with the cable.

Molded plastic bus covers are attached to the ends of a pair of molded case circuit breakers to isolate the circuit breakers from an electrical enclosure as well as to isolate between the circuit breakers themselves when connected within the enclosure in a double-branch configuration. Molded plastic lug covers are attached to the opposite ends of a molded case circuit breaker when the circuit breaker lugs are connected to power distribution cables to electrically isolate the power cables and the circuit breaker lugs.

A molded case circuit breaker having a pair of movable contact arms arranged within a single pole utilizes a shunt clip between the movable contact arms to insure electrical continuity between the contact arms and the support base during intense short circuit interruption. A compression spring-driven camming arrangement insures good electrical connection between the circuit breaker contacts under steady quiescent operating conditions while preventing reclosing of the contacts during short circuit interruption.
