A connecting system for a ring terminal for a baseplate of a terminal block comprises holding means for the terminal, and a clamping device configured to clamp the ring terminal once the ring terminal is held. The connecting system is configured such that the ring terminal bearing against at least one of the holding means generates a relative gap of the holding means with respect to each other, and then to move the holding means closer to each other, under the bias of a spring member when the holding means are located facing the ring of the terminal, so as to hold the ring terminal.

A connection assembly comprising a first connector housing having at least one blocking element in relief, and a second housing comprising a housing body extending along a longitudinal axis and a locking cap movable relative to the housing body of the second housing perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis between a locked position and an unlocked position. Electrical connection devices and systems for the electrical interconnection of systems and components within an aerospace vehicle, such as a production airplane, are disclosed. A typical quick lock interconnect comprises a manually installed and coupled modular electrical connector. The connector receptacles may be designed to 'snap' onto a structural support, such as a stamped and formed or extruded rail, providing an inherent electrical ground path. A typical quick lock production interconnect may be fabricated from thermoplastic materials and plated with a metallic finish to provide for electrical bonding and shielding. The connector device may also include a novel slide latch coupling mechanism that provides a positive visual indication of a fully coupled connector eliminating the need for specialized tools. The structural support may be part of an aircraft fuselage section where the plurality of electrical connector shells each support the one or more electrical conductors coupled between separate fuselage sections.

A multi-contact connector may include: a case body including a cable-attachment portion configured to enable cables to be attached to the portion, preferably using an attachment piece that is distinct from the case body, for example, a conductive or insulating collar.
