A flexible abrasion resistant omnidirectionally reflective retractable pet leash has an omnidirectionally reflective pet leash housed within a retractable housing device. The omnidirectionally reflective pet leash reflects an incoming light beam back in the same direction as it was emanated. The reflected light beam provides accurate illumination of the pet leash and the location of the pet during dusk or nighttime hours. This retractable pet leash is created by surrounding a central braided rope of nylon or polyethylene fibers with a cylindrically braided reflective sleeve. The braided reflective sleeve is composed of braided narrow width reflective strips each comprising a plurality of reflective threads worked together to form a weave. Due to the braided weave of the reflective threads and the arrangement of the microscopic reflectors light incident thereon from virtually any angle is reflected back to its source. Advantageously, the fabric remains supple, facilitating extension and retraction of the leash. The braided construction enables the pet leash to reflect light omnidirectionally over a large angle of acceptance, thereby providing an improved measure of safety for both the pet and the pet handler.

Abrasion resistant omnidirectionally reflective retractable pet leash

An animal toy containing food having a first portion with food delivery means integrated therein adapted to securely house solid food treats, including a nutritional pet supplement, to be removed by the animal during play or through chewing action, and a second side with a plurality of gum stimulation teeth integrated within and projecting therefrom that act to massage the gums of the animal. Food delivery means may be provided as a plurality of cavities integrated within the first portion (and optionally, the second portion), preferably having a grooved or threaded interior for securely holding food pieces securely therein. Alternatively, the food delivery means is provided as a food portion composing the first portion. A pet supplement may be utilized, including joint preserving and joint rebuilding compositions comprising chicken collagen type II, glucosamine hydrochloride and chondroitin sulfate, a vitamin composition comprising vitamins C, D and K, a mineral composition comprising calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese and boron, a herbal anti-oxidant cofactor blend comprising citrus bioflavonoids, red grapes anthocyanins, turmeric rhizome,resin and fennel seed.

Animal chew toy containing solid food

A flexible reflective flat retractable pet leash is retained within a retractable housing device. The reflective pet leash reflects incoming light beams back in the same direction as emanated. The reflected light beam provides accurate illumination of the pet leash and the location of the pet during dusk or nighttime hours. This retractable pet leash is created by weaving or integrating reflective material fabric/tape within a flat leash portion. The reflective retractable pet leash is composed of a flat leash portion operable to sustain substantial tensile forces having a front and back side. Reflective means are integrated within the flat leash portion being operable to provide reflectivity. A retractable housing device having a handle portion, a retraction control member actuated by a retraction control switch, a housing body with an internal chamber appointed with a reel member, and an extension-retraction aperture is provided for housing the leash.

Retractable flat belt reflective pet leash

An oral hygiene tablet or capsule for direct oral delivery of active ingredients to humans and animals is provided composed of a tablet or capsule having an outer shell and inner cavity containing an active ingredient. Active ingredients contained and delivered by the oral hygiene tablet include mouthwash, toothpaste, medicament, mouth soothing and numbing agents, fluoride rinse, joint preserving agents, vitamins and herbal supplements. Other ingredients, such as flavor enhancers, scents, colorings and sugars may be included in the composition of the tablet or capsule. Delivery of the supplement ingredients is effectuated by simply placing the tablet into the mouth and allowing saliva to cause the outer shell to dissolve. The dissolution process can be accelerated by biting of the tablet/capsule and breaking it into smaller particles and/or by drinking water when the tablet is inserted into the mouth.

Oral hygiene tablets and capsules for direct oral delivery of active ingredients

A pet supplement includes a joint preserving and joint rebuilding composition comprising chicken collagen type II, glucosamine hydrochloride and chondroitin sulfate, a vitamin composition comprising vitamins C, D and K, a mineral composition comprising calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese and boron, a herbal anti-oxidant cofactor blend comprising citrus bioflavonoids, red grapes anthocyanins, turmeric rhizome,resin and fennel seed. Each of these ingredients is intimately mixed into the pet supplement and orally delivered to the pet in the form of a segment, paste or powder having a size and weight or other dosage measuring feature adjusted in accordance with the pet's weight. A synergistic action between these ingredients preserves and rebuilds the pet's joints, and is nutritionally beneficial for the pet.

Joint preserving nutritional vitamin, mineral and herbal pet supplement

An edible chew pill jacket receives a pill/tablet or capsule that is to be administered to a pet, animal or human. The edible chew pill jacket includes a flexible top wall, side walls and bottom wall configured to form a chamber appointed to receive a pill. A flexible longitudinal slit is integrated within the top wall for providing access to the chamber for insertion of the pill within the edible chew pill jacket. The edible chew pill jacket is formulated with at least one flavoring to provide a tasty treat appointed to mask the pill's taste. The chew pill jacket substantially encapsulates the pill/tablet appointed to be orally ingested. The chew pill jacket may include medicament therein, nutrients, vitamins, or may simply be provided as a tasty treat to mask the taste of the pill.

An interchangeable attachment for an article (such as a head band, hand bag or pocketbook) capable of modifying the look and feel of said article. The article comprises a proximal end, distal end and a central section and is capable of receiving said interchangeable attachment. The interchangeable attachment includes a top wall having a show surface and a back wall having a securing member adapted to engage with the article for removably attaching the interchangeable attachment to the article. The interchangeable attachments have a plethora of designs and may include LED, fiber optic and/or reflective properties. Advantageously, the interchangeable attachments provide aesthetic appeal and allow the ability to design one's own accessory. They also afford enhanced visibility and/or increased safety during dusk or nighttime hours.

Interchangeable attachments for accessories

A brush assembly simultaneously separately controllably releases a fluid and liquid solution directly onto a surface, such as a coat of an animal during grooming, or onto an inanimate surface such as an exterior surface of a land vehicle. The brush assembly includes a molded brush having a plurality of apertures for fluid delivery, preferably water, as well as a secondary aperture for delivery of a liquid solution, such as soap, shampoo, or other treatments. At least one base plate with grooming implementations, such as bristles or a sponge may be interchangeably attached to the brush base. An ergonomical handle is provided having a palm conforming top and finger indentation sides constructed to form an internal cavity. The ergonomical handle is ambidextrous in nature for interchangeable left and right handedness. A center cylinder is located within the ergonomical handle and includes a bladder which aligns with the mid portion of the brush base for fluid delivery from a flow regulator. A secondary cylinder is located within the internal cavity of the ergonomical handle and includes a secondary bladder which aligns with the secondary aperture of the brush base for liquid solution delivery in response to pressing a release button. A closure member is provided that can be moved to an open or closed configuration to release or prevent, respectively, dispensing of the liquid solution. The fluid and liquid solution are separately but contemporaneously delivered directly to the surface during grooming.

An article forming pet gear (such as a pet coat, jacket, shirt or sweater) having a plurality of interchangeable attachments appointed to modify the article's look, feel and function. The article comprises a proximal end, distal end and a central section appointed to receive the interchangeable attachment. The interchangeable attachment includes a top wall having a show surface and a back wall having a securing member adapted to engage with the article for removably attaching the interchangeable attachment to the article. The interchangeable attachments have a plethora of designs and may include LED, fiber optic and/or reflective properties to provide aesthetic appeal, the ability to design one's own accessory, enhanced visibility, and/or increased safety of the pet during nighttime or dusk hours. They may also be treated with insect repellent, fragrance enhancers, and/or water repellant agents.

Interchangeable attachments for accessories for pets

A brush assembly releases a fluid and/or liquid solution directly onto a surface, such as a coat of an animal during grooming, or onto inanimate surfaces such as vehicles. The brush assembly includes a molded brush having a plurality of apertures integrated therein for delivery of a fluid. At least one base plate with grooming implementations, such as bristles or a sponge, is interchangeably attached to the brush base. An ergonomical handle is provided having a palm conforming top and finger indentation sides constructed to form an internal cavity. The fluid and/or liquid solution is delivered directly to the surface during grooming.

The present invention provides a portable water bottle and dish assembly and method for humans and pets to provide a human or pet with a readily accessible water bottle integrally attached to a delivery dish. The portable water bottle and dish assembly broadly comprises a bottle having a top portion and a body portion with an outer shell and an internal chamber that is removably attached and housed within a delivery dish. The delivery dish is configured in size and shape to provide access to a pet or human for drinking therefrom. Optionally, the bottle comprises an insulating internal chamber adapted to insulate the liquid housed therein, keeping the liquid at a constant temperature for a period of time. Alternatively, the delivery dish comprises an insulating interior compartment adapted to insulate the liquid when the bottle is within the interior compartment of the delivery dish.

Portable water bottle and dish assembly for humans and pets

A flexible abrasion resistant water shedding omnidirectionally reflective rope has a central low-density polymeric closed cell foam core comprising EPDM, Neoprene, SBR, NBR, EVA, PVC, PVC/NBR foam surrounded by cylindrically braided sleeve of reflective strips composed of narrow width reflective strips that comprise a woven or knitted narrow width strip and a flexible nylon retroreflective sheet sewn thereon and covered with abrasion resistant water shedding coating. The flexible retroreflective sheet is formed by thermally bonding corner cube, microsphere retroreflectors, or wide angle exposed retroreflective lenses to a flexible polymeric sheet. Due to its low-density foam core construction, the reflective rope floats on water and sheds water from the surface preserving omnidirectional reflectivity. The rope reflects light omnidirectionally over a large angle of acceptance and provides accurate illumination of the rope floating in water, location of a rope wound buoy and the like when used during dusk, fog or nighttime hours.

Omnidirectionally reflective buoyant rope

A pet boot having therapeutic properties is worn on a pet's injured or sensitive paw to facilitate healing and or provide protection. The therapeutic pet boot includes an external boot member having a shaft and a paw portion constructed to form a cavity integrated therein appointed to receive an injured paw of a pet. The therapeutic pet boot further includes an internal therapeutic member appointed to be received within the cavity of the external boot member and is appointed to intimately contact the injured paw. The therapeutic pet boot is appointed to be worn on the injured paw of the pet to facilitate healing. The internal therapeutic member may comprise a gel bootee having a massaging gel sole or may comprise a gel inner layer or gel insole. Advantageously, the internal therapeutic member may directly deliver medicament to the paw and/or provide cold treatment or hot treatment therapies to the paw, while providing cushioning, shock absorption and protection from dirt and debris.

An article, including pet collars and leashes, belts, bags and backpacks, has an interchangeable attachment. The article comprises a proximal end, distal end and a central section having at least one connection mechanism appointed to receive the interchangeable attachment. The interchangeable attachment includes a top wall having a show surface and a back wall having a securing member adapted to engage with the connection mechanism of the article for removably attaching the interchangeable attachment to the article. In one embodiment the interchangeable attachments are provided as button-type attachments. In another embodiment, the interchangeable attachment is provided as an elongated attachment portion appointed to substantially cover the central section of the article. The interchangeable attachments have a plethora of designs and may include LED, fiber optic and/or reflective properties to provide aesthetic appeal, enhanced visibility, and increased safety for pedestrians during nighttime or dusk hours.
