The technology describes a stamp and stamp pad for a self-inking stamp, having a housing or a carrying device for a pad for absorbing ink. The carrying device is rectangular in shape, having a base plate with longitudinal surfaces and lateral surfaces moulded thereon. On two surfaces running in parallel handle elements for the lateral gripping of the carrying device are arranged. On the lateral surface a handle element for the lateral gripping and pulling of the carrying device out of a stamp are formed of a plurality of parts displaceable within one another. The handle elements are formed for insertion in a clearance of a lower part of the stamp and do not protrude out of the outer surface of the lower part, so that an upper part of the stamp is displaceable via the clearance with the handle elements inserted in the lower part.

The invention relates to a stamp comprising a telescoping upper and lower part as well as a printing plate holder pivotally disposed in the lower part to accommodate the stamp plate. A retaining device for a stamp pad is associated with the printing plate holder, and in a rest position the printing plate holder is positioned in the range 80&#xb0; to 135&#xb0;, preferably at approximately 90&#xb0; with respect to a contact area. From this rest position the stamp can be displaced into an operating position to produce a stamped imprint via guide means, whereby the printing plate holder is turned about two guide pins, wherein one guide pin is respectively disposed on a side face of the printing plate holder, and the guide pins simultaneously engage in guide slots in the upper and lower part.

In some embodiments, a stamp with metallic elements, may comprise at least one stamping component and one stamping insert. The stamping component may be formed of a top part with a handle element and a bottom part with a cushion-receiving element. The stamping insert may be connected so as to move synchronously via a reversing mechanism having a slide track in the bottom part via a shaft or trunnion to the top part. In the resting position a text plate mounted on the stamping insert may abut against an ink pad soaked with ink in the cushion-receiving element. The metallic elements can be attached from the outside onto the top and bottom parts formed from plastic material and these are fixed via a fastening system of the upper and lower parts. The metal part of the bottom part is fixed on a surface of the plastic part.

In some embodiments, a stamp comprising at least one stamping component and one stamping insert with a mounted band unit. The stamping component may comprise a top part and a bottom part with a cushion-receiving element. The mounted band unit may be connected so as to move synchronously via a reversing mechanism in the bottom part to the top part. In the resting position a text plate mounted on the stamping insert and a stamping area of the mounted band unit may abut against an ink pad soaked with ink in the cushion-receiving element. During a stamping process for producing a stamp impression the stamping insert can be shifted via the reversing mechanism into a stamping position. On the stamping insert, a height adjustment element for the mounted band unit and/or a text plate carrier may be provided.

A stamp includes a printing unit and an actuator unit. The printing unit is connected to the actuator unit by a connecting element. The printing unit includes a support element and a printing plate the cross section of which is round. The printing plate is stabilized by the support element. The printing unit is moveable from a neutral setting into a print setting through axial displacement by the actuator unit. The printing plate can be moved further by axial displacement into a positioning setting wherein the printing plate can be rotated in its angular position relative to the actuator unit.

A stamp includes a printing unit and an actuator unit connected thereto by a connecting element. A printing plate is arranged in or on the printing unit to be moved from a neutral position into a printing position against a resetting force. The printing unit is arranged within a housing, including a support element having a pan bottom and at least one contiguous lateral wall stabilizing an ink storage body for receiving stamp ink. The printing plate is arranged abutting against the ink storage body for accepting stamp ink. The support element includes at least one sealable liquid-tight opening in the pan bottom that can be used to connect the support element to the actuator unit of the stamp and/or which can serve as a refill opening for stamp ink.
