The invention relates to a straightening machine () for straightening an elongated semifinished product with straightening roller elements (), with a roller table line () designed as a conveying section (), with a stand device (), which holds the straightening roller elements () with respect to the conveying section () and comprises a drive-side stand half () and an operator-side stand half (), which is displaceable with respect to the drive-side stand half (), with a changing device () for changing the straightening roller elements () and with a changing path (), along which the straightening roller elements () can be moved for changing, in which machine the straightening roller elements () are movable on the one hand by means of the operator-side stand half () along a first segment () of the changing path (), which extends in a horizontal displacement plane (), and on the other hand by means of the changing device () along a further segment () of the changing path (), which extends in a horizontal changing plane (), characterized in that the horizontal changing plane () is arranged in the region of the physical vertical extent () of the operator-side stand half ().

Straightening apparatus and method of changing rollers thereof

A section straightening machine is operated by a method which involves passing the structural sections through the array of straightening tools. Section straightening forces are applied to adjustable shafts carrying the tools and adjusters at the service sides of the shaft applying forces acting counter to the section straightening forces.

Method of operating a section straightening machine

In a straightening machine for straightening sections like rolled beams, wherein tools () are arranged on a plurality of mutually parallel driven straightening shafts () disposed above and below the alignment line in the transport direction of the product to be straightened, and of which preferably the upper straightening shafts () are adjustable for setting the straightening gap, the straightening shafts () are individually adjustable and each have on both sides an adjusting means engaging straightening shaft ends () whereby in straightening operations at least the adjusting means on the service side () remote from the drive side I is provided with a force (F) acting opposite to the straightening force (F) relevant hereto.

Section straightening machine

A straightening machine for rolled beams, particularly I-beams, wherein at least one of the two straightening disks which rest from the inside against the beam flanges and are supported by a straightening shaft is axially adjustable. One of the straightening disks is fixedly connected to the straightening shaft through a mounting sleeve, while the other straightening disk is fixedly positioned in accordance with its adjusting dimension on a sliding sleeve which is adjustably mounted on the sleeve. Optionally, the mounting sleeve can be coupled to the sliding sleeve, on the one hand, and the sliding sleeve can separately be coupled to a piston/cylinder unit, on the other hand.

Straightening machine for rolled beams

A straightening machine for rolled beams, particularly hyper-beams, includes two straightening disks which are mounted on a straightening shaft and rest against the flanges of the beams from the inside, wherein at least one of the two straightening disks is axially displaceable. A support ring is arranged between the straightening disks. The support ring has distributed over the circumference thereof a plurality of hydraulic cylinders. The adjusting pistons of the hydraulic cylinders are connected to the axially displaceable straightening disk.

A roller leveller, in particular, for beams with a large web depth, includes a carrier shaft on which lower levelling rollers are mounted in a cantilever fashion and which is arranged in a bearing housing with a possibility of dual axial displacement. The bearing housing rests on lifting elements and is displaceable up and down in vertical guides of a horizontally displaceable carrier slide. The bearing housing is pivotably arranged about an inclination adjustment axis that extends transverse to the carrier shaft axis.
