The invention illustrates and describes a composite pack, in particular a parallelepipedal cardboard/plastic composite pack for pourable products, having an elliptical laminated hole which is provided in the composite pack gable, with an elliptical main axis and an elliptical minor axis, and a pouring element, comprising a basic body, a cutting element movably guided in the basic body and having the shape of a hollow cylinder with a cylinder outer diameter and a resealable screw cap, wherein the screw cap serves for opening the composite pack for the first time by activation of the cutting element, which thus forms a pouring opening in the region of the laminated hole and wherein first guidance means configured on the cutting element interact with second guidance means configured on the basic body. In order to create the largest possible outflow diameter, while maintaining an already existing variant of a laminated hole, or in order to optimise the system of laminated hole and cutting element below its normal limits, it is provided that the cylinder external diameter is at least as big as the length of the elliptical minor axis. This leads to the side wall of the hollow cylinder-shaped cutting element extending the laminated hole at least in sections.

Represented and described is a resealable pouring element for cardboard/plastic composite packages, in particular beverage packages, with a base element having a circumferential fastening flange as well as an external thread, with opening means arranged at least in the unopened state of the pouring element in the interior of the base element and with a screw cap with internal thread, wherein the opening means are designed such that when the composite package is initially opened by unscrewing the screw cap by breaking the composite material of the package or a barrier layer located in the base element, a pour opening is created inside the pouring element and wherein at least one tamper-evident seal is arranged between the base element and the screw cap. In order to reduce the assembly effort for such a resealable pouring element, it is provided that an anchor ring is arranged below the screw cap and is connected to the screw cap via a hinge a rotationally fixed manner and in that the tamper-evident seal consists of an indicating element, whose one end is fixedly connected to the anchor ring or the screw cap and in which the other end is connected to the anchor ring by means of a predetermined breaking point in such manner that the predetermined breaking point of at least one mandrel element arranged on the fastening flange is broken when the screw cap is unscrewed and thus indicates to the consumer that an initial opening has already taken place.

A pouring element for a composite packaging, in particular a beverage carton for liquid foodstuffs is shown and described, comprising a basic body having a fastening flange and a pouring tube, a cutting element which is arranged and guided in the pouring tube and a closure cap which can be joined to the basic body, wherein during actuation for the first time, the cutting element can be driven by first drive means formed on the closure cap and by second drive means formed on the inner wall of the cutting element and wherein the movement of the cutting element follows different gradients, and a composite packaging is also shown and described, in particular a beverage carton for liquid foodstuffs, having a pack gable-top panel which is suitable for receiving a pouring element. In order to improve the drive and guidance of the cutting element during opening of the composite packaging, simultaneously with optimised producibility, and to facilitate the opening of the composite packaging in the region of a weakening in the pack material, it is provided that the second drive means is configured as a rib which runs obliquely and includes an angle with the longitudinal direction, and that the end face of the rib partly projects over the foot thereof and thus includes a valley angle.

A pouring element for a composite packaging, in particular for a beverage carton for liquid food, comprising a fastening flange and a pouring tube, a cutting element arranged and guided in the pouring tube, first guide means formed in the pouring tube and second guide means formed on the cutting element, wherein the first and second guide means cooperate correspondingly, and a composite packaging, in particular a beverage carton for liquid foods, with a packaging gable panel suitable for accommodating a pouring element. A reclosable pouring element for liquids contained in packagings, in particular liquid food, including a base body, which has a pouring opening, an external thread and a flange for connection to the packaging, a cutting ring, which has a cutting edge and a projection, and a screw lid, which has an internal thread and an actuator, the pouring opening being closed by a barrier film. To achieve improved protection of the barrier film against damage while still having a reliable opening function of the pouring element, it is proposed that the base body has a support wall, on which the barrier film rests.

A self-opening and re-sealable pouring element of plastics material for application to a pack for liquids, and in particular a composite card/plastics material pack, has a base part which has an attaching flange, having a cutting element and a screw cap, the cutting element being rotatably arranged in the interior of the base part and operatively connected to the screw cap such that when the screw cap is unscrewed for the first time, an opening for pouring is produced by the cutting element in the material of the pack, wherein, when produced in an injection mold, the cutting element is already entirely arranged in the interior of the base part and is spaced away from the base part by a plurality of connecting bridges.

A method for applying a reclosable pouring element comprising a pouring opening and a flange and having a removable cap, to a container having an opening. The method comprising the steps of connecting the pouring element to a lid of the container having an opening by affixing the flange of the pouring element to the lid in a liquid-tight fashion. Sealing a section of a closure film on the pouring element so that the pouring opening of the pouring element still remains open. Connecting the lid to the container body in a liquid-tight fashion. Sterilizing an interior of the container. Filing the container with a product through the pouring opening. Closing the container by sealing the closure film onto the pouring element in such a fashion that the pouring opening of the pouring element is closed in a liquid-tight fashion and applying the cap to the pouring element.

Method for applying a resealable pouring element to a container and corresponding container

The pouring closure () for liquid packagings () comprises a pouring stem () with a radially projecting bottom edge () and a threaded cover (). Threaded cover () has a larger diameter than pouring stem (), and an elastically deformable ring element () is disposed between pouring stem () and threaded cover (). The ring surface () of the ring element runs obliquely to the ring plane, with the inner ring edge () ending in an downwardly directed projection () which can be clipped over pouring stem (). The outer ring edge () ends in an upwardly directed projection (), which is provided with an outer thread () for screwing on cover (). The ring element () can be elastically deformed to spring into two stable states, namely and firstly, into a state with the ring surface () sloping downwards from the inner () to the outer () ring edge. In this state, the pouring closure () is compressed, and less than 5 mm high. In the other state with the ring surface () rising upwards, the pouring closure () is around three times higher and ensures the liquid can be reliably poured out beyond the 5 mm high rim () of liquid packaging (), which is positioned approximately 11 mm distant from pouring stem ().
