A method and system couples a first user interface with a second user interface. The first user interface is implemented in the form of a mobile terminal or one or more back-end components. The second user interface is implemented in the form of a control device of a vehicle. The method includes the steps of: registering one or more elements of the first user interface; determining one or more display elements based on first heuristics and the one or more elements, wherein the one or more display elements are configured to reproduce at least one portion of the one or more elements; and displaying the one or more display elements on the second user interface. The system has the control device and/or the one or more back-end components, wherein the control device and/or the one or more back-end components are configured to carry out the method.

Coupling of user interfaces

An apparatus for a vehicle includes processing circuitry configured to obtain identification information on a future passenger of the vehicle, the identification information comprising an ultra-wideband communication identification of a mobile device of the future passenger. The processing circuitry is also configured to locate the future passenger outside the vehicle using ultra-wideband communication, the ultra-wideband communication being performed between an ultra-wideband transceiver of the vehicle and the mobile device of the future passenger and being based on the ultra-wideband communication identification of the mobile device. The processing circuitry is further configured to compute guidance information based on the location of the future passenger of the vehicle, and provide the guidance information via an interface.

Apparatus, method and computer program for a vehicle

A vehicle assistance device includes a control device for controlling the display of information and a display for displaying the information. When the control device has determined a state of the vehicle and/or a position of the vehicle, the control device takes the determined state of the vehicle and/or the determined position of the vehicle as a basis for providing information for the driver on the display device. When changing between mobility sections in which different information may be of interest to the driver, the vehicle assistance device can provide a driver with the necessary information for each of the mobility sections.

A vehicle assistance device for a driver includes a control unit for generating data that indicates information with respect to the temporal occurrence of an event along a route of a vehicle. A passing assistance system and method is provided for one's vehicle having an electronic control device for at least receiving messages from car-to-car communication systems of other vehicles. The messages include information about the presence or absence of a vehicle that trails the vehicle transmitting the message. The control device evaluates these messages as follows: the control device has a filter for identifying the first oncoming vehicle and its message and activates a warning system in the ego-vehicle to prevent a passing process if this message includes the information about the presence of a trailing vehicle.

Passing assistance system and method

A communication device for a vehicle has a first communication unit and a second communication unit. The first communication unit is configured to communicate with a server via a first communication protocol. The second communication unit is configured to communicate with at least one further vehicle via a second communication protocol. The first communication unit is configured to receive from the server control information for the second communication protocol and to forward it to the second communication unit. The second communication unit is configured to perform, depending on the forwarded control information, at least one predetermined setting for communicating with the at least one further vehicle by use of the second communication protocol.

A method and device for providing information about a user of a social network in the social network are provided. In order to enable the driver of a vehicle or a passenger to communicate with an IT social network with as little distraction as possible, the information is acquired using at least one status recognition device, which is provided in a vehicle used by the user of the social network.
