A medical device has a fluid port (), a tube (), a socket (), which can be connected to the fluid port and to the tube with freely selectable rotation positions. The tube is provided with a transponder () and with a writing and reading device for communication with the transponder, which has an antenna () in the area of the fluid port. The socket is provided with a coil () each, whose axis of rotation is directed essentially coaxially to the axis of rotation about which the relative rotation position of the socket is variable. The two coils are connected by electric lines (), to which at least one capacitor () is connected as a circuit component. The coils, the electric lines and the circuit component form an electric oscillatory circuit for transmitting signals between the writing and reading device and the transponder.

Medical device with a fluid port

A coupling device () is provided, especially a tube nozzle (), for a medical device (), especially a respirator (), for the mechanical and electromagnetic coupling of the medical device () with the accessory (), especially a tube system (). The device includes a mechanical device for coupling the medical device () with the accessory (), at least one inductance (), at least one capacitance () and at least one electric line () for forming an electric circuit as a resonant circuit for the electromagnetic coupling of an inductance () at the medical device () with an inductance () at the accessory (). The coupling device () is able to be checked for trouble-free operation without the accessory (). The coupling device () is able to be manufactured at a low cost and make safe and reliable handling possible. The coupling device () has a semiconductor chip () for storing and/or processing at least one piece of information and/or for sending and/or receiving at least one signal.

Tube nozzle for a respirator

A radio frequency detection system is provided that includes at least two radio frequency detection devices, which have an antenna each with a detection range for a radio frequency identification and detect the radio frequency identification information provided in the detection range. The radio frequency detection system is designed to attenuate a detection range of a detecting radio frequency detection device in the detection range of the at least one other radio frequency detection device by means of a compensation member such that the radio frequency identification cannot be detected by the detecting radio frequency detection device in the detection area of the at least one other radio frequency detection device. The compensation member feeds a compensation current to the at least one other antenna to generate an opposing magnetic field, which attenuates or extinguishes the magnetic field of the detecting antenna in the at least one other detection range, by the at least one other antenna in the at least one other detection range.

Radio frequency detection system for a medical device and process

An electroimpedance tomograph with a plurality of electrodes () is provided, which can be placed on the body of a patient and are connected via a selector switch () with a control and evaluating unit (). The control and evaluating unit () cooperates with the selector switch () such that two electrodes each are supplied with an alternating current from an AC power source () and the detected analog voltage signals of the other electrodes are processed in order to reconstruct therefrom the impedance distribution of the body in the plane of the electrodes, wherein a symmetrical AC power source is used to reduce common-mode signals. To further suppress interferences due to common-mode signals, provisions are made for the control and evaluating unit () to be set up, furthermore, for detuning the common-mode signal of the alternating current on the body against the ground by means of a common-mode signal measuring electrode () and, based on this, the symmetry of the symmetrical AC power source such that the common-mode signal on the body is minimized, and the corresponding detuning parameters are stored for each electrode pair.

Electroimpedance tomograph with common-mode signal suppression

An electroimpedance tomograph including a plurality of electrodes placed on a body, measuring circuits processing voltage signals recorded by the electrodes, and a control unit supplying two electrodes each with an alternating current. The control unit has a preset feed frequency. The control unit processes the processed voltage signals of all other electrodes to reconstruct the impedance distribution of the body in the electrode plane. The control unit provides for an automatic setting of the current feed frequency/frequencies to record a background frequency spectrum by detecting the electrode voltage signals over a preset period of time and record them as a voltage time series and transform them into a frequency spectrum. The control unit searches in the background frequency spectrum for a frequency (different states) or frequencies (different frequencies) that leads to a useful signal to background ratio above a preset threshold value when used as a feed frequency.
