A method for producing a metal plate having at least one embedded the temperature sensor and to a metal plate produced by the method. The metal plate is produced from a plurality of layers or plate bodies, which are diffusion-connected to each other by thermal pretreatment and subsequent rolling. A sheathed thermocouple is rolled, as the temperature sensor, into the metal plate during the production of the metal plate, or a protective tube made of metal is rolled into the metal plate, into which protective tube a sheathed thermocouple can be inserted after the metal plate has been processed further to form a cooking vessel.

Method for producing a metal plate having an embedded temperature sensor and metal plate produced thereby

A description is given of a process for producing a metal plate having at least one embedded heating element and of the metal plate produced by the process. The heating element is arranged between two plate bodies, and the heating element is embedded in the plate bodies by rolling with material displacement. The adjacent sides of the plate bodies have a layer of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. After a heat pre-treatment at the re-crystallization temperature of the aluminum or the aluminum alloy, the plate bodies are pressed against one another to bring about a reduction in thickness, with which the plate bodies form a diffusion bond with one another and are integrally bonded to one another over the entire surface area thereof to form the metal plate to be produced. The process produces a metal plate as a whole with better thermal conductivity and a broader spectrum of use.

Process for producing a metal plate having an embedded heating element and metal plate produced thereby

A strip-shaped or plate-shaped composite metal object and a method for the production thereof. The composite metal object has at least two layers of the same metal. The layers have been brought by a heat pretreatment to a temperature such that a mutual diffusion bond has resulted through subsequent pressing of the layers against one another, while reducing the thickness by 5 to 25% and preferably 8 to 15%. A layer, which on the side thereof facing an adjacent layer has strip-shaped recesses, which are closed by the adjacent layer to form channels when the layers are pressed together, is used as one of the layers. The channels in the composite metal object allow the inclusion of additional elements before processed further to form an implement. The channels remain extensively preserved during the production and further processing of the composite model object.

The composite article includes a core layer of an aluminium alloy. This core layer is arranged between two outer layer portions which are structured as mere images of each other relative to the core layer. Such an outer layer portion may include a layer of pure aluminium arranged on the core layer followed by a layer of carbon steel and finally a layer of an austenitic high-grade steel forming the outermost layer. This composite article has an excellent heat conducting property and is easily magnetizable. The arrangement of the individual layers does not lead to difficulties such as detaching of layers, rupturing of layers or the forming of waves during a cold deforming, drawing etc. of the composite article.
