The filling of value documents cassettes involves a cassette receiving device for receiving a value document cassette and a gripping device for transporting a value document stack from a value document container into the value document cassette. The apparatus optionally has a formatting device for the automatic alignment of a value document stack removed from the value document container before the stack is inserted in the value document cassette. A finger element is attached to the transport device of the gripping device, and besides the gripping device, the finger element is guided into the value document cassette before the value documents are inserted.

Filling of boxes for valuable documents

A stacking apparatus for value documents, having a stack deposit device and a braking device which is arranged along the transport path of the value documents immediately before the stack deposit device. On the transport shaft of the braking device at least one driving roller is firmly mounted and at least one roller rotatably supported on the transport shaft. At least one cam roller is firmly mounted on a braking shaft of the braking device and at least one eccentric roller. By a rotation of the braking shaft, the eccentric roller can electively be brought in engagement with the opposing driving roller so that a value document becomes clamped between these, or be brought out of engagement with the opposing driving roller, so that the value document is no longer clamped between these, but rather is brakable by the engagement between the cam roller and the rotatably supported roller.

Stacking device for stacking value documents

A feed module for feeding value documents, in particular bank notes, to a value-document processing apparatus, has a receiving device in which one or more value documents to be processed can be inserted. The receiving device includes a first aligning element which the value documents lying in the receiving device are aligned to with a first edge of the value documents when the receiving device is in a first state, and a second aligning element which the value documents lying in the receiving device are aligned to with a second edge of the value documents when the receiving device is in a second state. A positioning device through which the receiving device is brought from the first state to the second state.

Supply module and method for supplying value documents to a value document preparation device

Input stacks of value documents are inserted in an input pocket of the value document processing apparatus, transported through the apparatus, checked and sorted into different deposit pockets of the value document processing apparatus, wherein reject value documents are deposited separately from the valid value documents. The reject value documents are automatically transported back to the input pocket with the aid of a reject transport device, to check the reject value documents again with the same value document processing apparatus (rerun). The reject transport device has several reject transport units, in which the reject value documents from the different input stacks are deposited separately from each other, and a reader for reading in the machine-readable identifier of the respective reject transport unit used for assigning the reject value documents of the respective reject transport unit to the input stack to which these reject value documents belong.

Method and apparatus for handling value documents

A gripping device for gripping a sheet-material stack has at least two gripping elements for gripping a sheet-material stack disposed between the gripping elements, which gripping elements can be moved toward each other in order to grip the sheet-material stack. At least one of the gripping fingers of one of the gripping elements is tiltable from its starting position, in which it is oriented substantially parallel to the stack surface, into a tilted position, in which it is inclined toward the stack surface. With the gripping device any types of sheet-material stacks can be reliably and trouble-free removed from a container and held against gravity through grip-clamping.

Apparatus for continuous singling of stacks of loose sheet material, in particular bank notes, vouchers, checks, separation cards, etc., includes a singling unit for singling stacks of loose sheet material and a feeding device which transports stacks of loose sheet material to be singled into a position where sheet material of the stack is grasped by the singling unit and transferred to a transport system. The feeding device has a first, substantially single-axis moved feeding element and a second, substantially multi-axis moved feeding element. A container is provided to receive the stack of loose sheet material, the container having a movable platform on which the stack of sheet material rests. The container is received by a container receiving device which has a transport device connected to the platform of the container located in the container receiving device, wherein the platform of the container together with the transport device forms the first feeding element.

Device for handling sheet material

The invention relates to an apparatus for aligning disordered sheet material. The apparatus according to the invention in particular has the advantage, that disordered sheet material is fast and reliably aligned, so that the sheet material can be formed into bundles. Since the alignment of the sheet material can be carried out automatically by the apparatus, i.e. in particular has not to be carried out by an operator, moreover, a cost-effective alignment of the disordered sheet material is permitted.

Device for aligning disordered sheet-type products

An apparatus for diverting sheet material, in particular bank notes (BN), includes a diverting plate () with a first diverting edge () disposed on a slant and preferably a second diverting edge () disposed on a slant. The sheet material is guided and transported from the rear side () of the diverting plate () around the first diverting edge () to the front side () and further around the second diverting edge () back to the rear side (). If the diverting edges () are aligned relative to the transport direction () of the sheet material e.g. in each case at a slant angle of 45&#xb0;, this apparatus permits the sheet-material transport direction to be diverted by 180&#xb0;, whereby the transport path is shifted parallel. Thus, a continuous bank-note stream can be diverted uninterruptedly while retaining the sheet-material orientation relative to the transport direction. By means of a gate () the sheet material can be guided to a downstream diverting edge () instead of to the second diverting edge ().

Apparatus for diverting sheet material

A cog belt pulley defining an axis of rotation having an outer circumferential surface oriented about the axis of rotation and including a plurality of teeth for engagement with at least one cog belt. The pulley is distinguished in having at least one flange segment radially extending from the outer circumferential surface. Each flange segment projects about a fraction of the circumferential surface and is located on an individual plane. The at least one flange segment is arranged for enabling a cog belt to be configured onto the pulley without interfering with the at least one of the flange segment.
