A stretch-rolling device and a stretch-rolling method for pressure-forming workpieces by rolls. The stretch-rolling device includes a pair of work-rolls with two rolls, which can each be rotated about their roll axes and form a roll gap between them. The rolls implement a plurality of stages in an axial direction, which are set up for stepwise deformation of the workpieces as the workpieces pass through the stages successively. A manipulator with a plurality of gripping devices, which are arranged on a working side of the pair of work-rolls, are set up to grip the workpieces at an assigned stage to guide the workpieces through the roll gap in a feed/retraction direction. A support is arranged to temporarily support the workpieces in cooperation with the manipulator to transfer the workpieces to another gripping device, which is preferably an adjacent gripping device of the next higher stage.

Stretch rolling device and stretch rolling method

A stretch rolling method and a stretch rolling unit can roll out any gripping ends and uses the narrowest possible installation space. In the stretch rolling method, a workpiece is successively fed to at least two passes of a stretch rolling unit of a gripping device, wherein the workpiece is rotated by 180&#xb0; about an axis of rotation lying perpendicular to the main direction of extent of the workpiece between the first pass of the two passes and the second pass of the two passes.

A spray head for supplying at least one die of a forming machine with lubricating coolant, the forming machine including a lower die and an upper die, is preferably produced by rapid manufacturing and is designed as a single piece to a large extent. The use of rapid manufacturing allows the production of the most varied configurations, such as stabilizing honey-comb structures or drip points, which allow a more advantageous design of the spray head. The spray head carries at least one two-substance nozzle connected with at least one feed channel. The nozzle body of the nozzle and the channel wall of the feed channel are configured in one piece with one another or the channel wall of the feed channel and a spray head foot carrying a supply connector connected with the feed channel are configured in one piece with one another.

To minimize the setup times in the case of a tool changeover on rolls, the movement sequences are separated into transverse movements and vertical movements using a tool changeover system and method for changeover of at least one tool disposed on a roll shaft in a working position. In one aspect, the tool changeover system includes a tool changeover rack, a vertical transport and a transverse transport. A drawing frame separate from the tool changeover rack can be transported transversely separately with reference to the tool changeover rack. The tool changeover rack has a device for connecting with the vertical transport and a tool accommodation for accommodating the tool. The drawing frame has a device for connecting with the transverse transport and a device for connecting with the tool.
