A device for detecting at least one property of a fluid medium, and a method for its production. The method includes a) providing at least one housing, the housing having at least one electrical contact; introducing at least one sensor element for detecting the property into the housing; c) providing at least one pressure-pipe tube, the pressure-pipe tube including at least one contacting element; d) bringing the contacting element into contact with the sensor element in such a way that an electrical connection is established between the contacting element and the sensor element; and e) introducing at least one circuit substrate into the housing in such a way that the circuit substrate is electrically connected to the electrical contact of the housing and to the sensor element, the housing and the pressure-pipe tube being produced as separate components.

Method for producing a device for detecting at least one property of a fluid medium in a measuring chamber

A device for detecting a pressure of a fluid medium is described. The device includes at least one housing having at least two pressure feeds; at least one sensor module, the sensor module being accommodated in the housing, the sensor module including at least one support element, the support element including at least one substrate and at least one molding compound, the support element further including at least one passage opening, the passage opening entirely penetrating the support element; at least one pressure sensor element for detecting the pressure, the pressure sensor element including at least one diaphragm, the pressure sensor element covering the passage opening; at least one control and evaluation unit, the control and evaluation unit being at least partially enclosed by the molding compound. A method for manufacturing the device is also described.

Device for detecting a pressure of a fluid medium and method for manufacturing the device

A pressure sensor for measuring a pressure of a fluid medium in a measuring chamber is provided. The pressure sensor includes a sensor housing, a first pressure-sensor module for measuring at least one first pressure of the medium in a first measuring chamber, and a second pressure-sensor module for measuring at least one second pressure of the medium in a second measuring chamber. The first pressure-sensor module and the second pressure-sensor module are situated inside the sensor housing. In addition, the pressure sensor has at least one first pressure connection, which is designed for the connection to the first measuring chamber. Moreover, the pressure sensor has at least one second pressure connection, which is developed for the connection to the second measuring chamber. The first pressure connection differs from the second pressure connection.

Pressure sensor for measuring a pressure of a fluid medium

A method is described for electrically connecting a coaxial conductor to a circuit carrier, in particular a printed circuit board. The circuit carrier has a top side and a bottom side, and printed conductors are situated at least on the top side of the circuit carrier. The coaxial conductor also includes an inner conductor and an outer conductor, the coaxial conductor being led, at least partially, from the bottom side of the circuit carrier through a feedthrough provided in the circuit carrier. In addition, at least one first contact conductor is used for electrically connecting the outer conductor to at least one first printed conductor of the circuit carrier, and at least one second contact conductor is used for electrically connecting the inner conductor to at least one second printed conductor of the circuit carrier. The first and the second contact conductors each have a press-in connection at at least one of their contact points with the circuit carrier or with the coaxial conductor.

Method for electrically connecting a coaxial conductor to a circuit carrier

A device for measuring a pressure and a temperature of a fluid medium flowing in a duct, the device including a pressure sensor element; a temperature sensor having a temperature sensor element; a housing that has a connecting piece, the connecting piece being insertable into the duct in an insertion direction, the connecting piece having an interior chamber, the interior chamber having an opening through which the interior chamber may be exposed to the fluid medium; and a carrier substrate, the pressure sensor element being connected electrically and mechanically to the carrier substrate. In order to increase the service life of the temperature sensor, and in order to allow temperature measurement that is as accurate as possible, it is provided, in this context, that the carrier substrate be positioned substantially parallel to the insertion direction in the interior chamber of the connecting piece, the interior chamber extending along the insertion direction, and it is provided that the temperature sensor be connected electrically and mechanically to the carrier substrate.

A method for solderless electrical press-fit contacting of electrically conductive press-fit pins in circuit boards include: providing a circuit board having a thickness, at least one electrical conductor path, and a contacting opening guided perpendicularly through the circuit board and having a metallized inner wall; providing an electrically conductive press-fit pin having a longitudinal axis and having a press-fit region suitable for press-fitting into the contacting opening and having a substantially round cross section; and press-fitting the press-fit pin into the contacting opening by applying onto the press-fit pin a force acting along the longitudinal axis of the press-fit pin, press-fitting being assisted by the application of ultrasound acting on the press-fit pin.

Method for solderless electrical press-fit contacting of electrically conductive press-fit pins in circuit boards

A pressure detection module of a pressure sensor device includes a receptacle part for receiving a carrier substrate. The carrier substrate is located on a first side with a pressure detection unit, and is inserted into the receptacle part with a second side facing away from the first side. The carrier substrate is fixed with its second side on a base of a receptacle groove. In order to construct the pressure detection module as small as possible, and to manufacture it in a cost-effective way, the receptacle part, the receptacle groove and a peripheral flange around the receptacle groove are, for example, provided with a plate-shaped design. The base has a contacting opening, through which contact surfaces of the carrier substrate, which are exposed at the contacting opening, are electrically contactable.

Pressure detection module and pressure sensor device having such a pressure detection module

A device for recording the pressure and the temperature in an intake manifold of an internal combustion engine, a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor being situated in a common housing, and an evaluation of a signal of the temperature sensor being provided outside the housing. An EMC protective circuit is provided in this context, which is integrated into the housing and/or is situated on the housing, and is electrically connected to the temperature sensor.
