Problem to be Solved A catalyst for obtaining hydrogen gas by steam reforming of a hydrocarbon-containing gas in the presence of steam including active metals supported on an &#x3b1;-alumina carrier. The active metals include 0.1 to 0.3 parts by weight of rhodium (Rh) based on the content of the metal, relative to 100 parts by weight of the &#x3b1;-alumina carrier, and 0.01 to 0.3 parts by weight of platinum (Pt) based on the content of the metal, relative to 100 parts by weight of the &#x3b1;-alumina carrier. The &#x3b1;-alumina carrier is modified with a promoter including 1 to 10 parts by weight of cerium (Ce) based on the content of the metal, relative to 100 parts by weight of the &#x3b1;-alumina carrier.

The invention relates to: a catalytic composition that is active in the selective catalytic reduction of nitric oxides, containing an iron-containing MFI-type zeolite and an iron-containing BEA-type zeolite, wherein the weight average particle size d50 of the MFI-type zeolite and the BEA-type zeolite is different; a method for producing an SCR catalyst; and the SCR catalyst produced in this way. The adhesion of the coating is improved in that the weight average particle sizes of the MFI-type and BEA-type zeolites are different.

The present invention relates to a catalytic composition comprising a noble metal on an acidic tungsten-containing mixed oxide, a method for producing the catalytic composition and the use of the catalytic composition as oxidation catalyst. The invention further relates to a catalyst shaped body, which has the catalytic composition on a support, a washcoat containing the catalytic composition according to the invention and the use of the washcoat to produce a coated catalyst shaped body.
