A 3D extrusion print process for producing multicolored three-dimensional objects is provided. The process produces mechanically stable, multicolored 3D objects with good color definition. The process according to the invention is based on coating, upstream of the printing head, of the polymer strand used for producing the actual object, and on fixing of the coating upstream of entry of the polymer strand into the printing head. Downstream of the extrusion process in the printing head, the coating remains predominantly at the surface of the extruded strand.

Multicolour extrusion-based 3D print process

The invention relates to a modified fused deposition modeling process for production of multicolored three-dimensional objects. More particularly, the invention relates to a 3D printing process with which 3D objects with particularly good color appearance compared to the prior art can be produced. The process according to the invention is based on coloring of the polymer strand used for production of the actual object in the nozzle, and on using a mixing apparatus which comprises a plurality of injection needles, a static mixer or a dynamic mixer.

Multicolored fused deposition modelling print

The present invention relates to a novel process for the production of coated filaments for subsequent application as print in extrusion-based 3D printers, e.g. FDM printers (fused deposition modelling printers). The filaments are coated in a separate process outside of the printer, and can also be used in a conventional extrusion printer. The present invention further relates to the coating device for application of the coating to the filament and to a roll containing the coated filaments.

Use and production of coated filaments for extrusion-based 3D printing processes

The invention relates to a novel support material for the fused deposition modelling process for producing three-dimensional objects. The invention relates more particularly to a 3D printing process involving support materials which are easier to remove than in the prior art. The support materials according to the invention are styrene-maleic anhydride copolymers for example.

A production method for producing molded articles from fiber composites, superparamagnetic particles are selected which become coupled to an external alternating magnetic field. These superparamagnetic particles are added to a resin portion of a strip-shaped starting material further comprising reinforcing fibers. The strip-shaped starting material is then continuously advanced, and, while being advanced, heated by coupling-in an external alternating magnetic field to which the superparamagnetic particles in the resin portion become coupled. Next, the heated starting material is continuously molded into a molded article; and the resin portion in the molded particle is cured.

Induction-assisted production method

An aggregated crystalline silicon powder with a BET surface area of 20 to 150 m/g is provided. The aggregated silicon powder may be doped with phosphorus, arsenic, antimony, bismuth, boron, aluminium, gallium, indium, thallium, europium, erbium, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, samarium, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, thulium, lutetium, lithium, ytterbium, germanium, iron, ruthenium, osmium, cobalt, rhodium, iridium, nickel, palladium, platinum, copper, silver, gold, or zinc.

Aggregated crystalline silicon powder with a BET surface area of 20 to 150 m/g. It is prepared by subjecting at least one vaporous or gaseous silane and optionally at least one vaporous or gaseous doping material, an inert gas and hydrogen to heat in a hot wall reactor, cooling the reaction mixture or allowing the reaction mixture to cool and separating the product from gaseous substances in the form of a powder, wherein the proportion of silane is between 0.1 and 90 wt. %, with respect to the sum of silane, doping material, hydrogen and inert gases, and wherein the proportion of hydrogen, with respect to the sum of hydrogen, silane, inert gas and doping material, is in the range 1 mol. % to 96 mol. %. It can be used to produce electronic components.

The invention concerns an adhesive composition for producing thermoset products, capable of being heated by means of an electric field, a magnetic field, an electromagnetic field or an alternating electromagnetic field, and containing filler particles which are metallic, ferromagnetic, ferrimagnetic, superparamagnetic or paramagnetic. Said adhesive composition can be hardened under the action of heat to form a high-resistance stable adhesive assembly, said resulting adhesive assemblies capable of being likewise dissociated under the action of heat.

An aqueous dispersion containing abrasive particles comprises abrasive particles having superparamagnetic metal oxide domains in a non-magnetic metal oxide or non-metal oxide matrix. The abrasive particles of the aqueous dispersion can have an average particle size of below 400 nm and a BET surface area of 50 to 600 m /g. The dispersion can be produced by dispersing the abrasive particles with an energy of at least 200 kJ/m using a device in which the abrasive particles are first subjected to high pressure, then decompressed through a nozzle so that the abrasive particles collide with one another or against sections of wall in the device. The aqueous dispersion can be used for chemical mechanical polishing (CMP).

Dispersion containing pyrogenically manufactured abrasive particles with superparamagnetic domains

Pyrogenic, oxidic particles contain superparamagnetic metal oxide domains with a diameter of 3 to 20 nm in a non-magnetic metal or non-metal oxide matrix. The particles display a chloride content of 50 to 1000 ppm. The particles are produced by pyrogenic processes by mixing the precursor of the superparamagnetic domains and the precursor of the non-magnetic metal or non-metal oxide matrix in a flame with air and/or oxygen and fuel gas and reacting this mixture in a flame. The particles can be used as ferro fluids, for example.
