An arrangement for a semiconductor arrangement includes a substrate including a dielectric material layer and a first metallization arranged on the dielectric material layer. A passive component is arranged completely in a cutout of the first metallization and bears directly on the dielectric material layer. The passive component is designed to include a first profile. The the first metallization includes a second profile in a region of contacting with the passive component, with the first and second profiles engaging with one another.

Some circuits for controlling a semiconductor switch include: a contact for connection to a control terminal of the semiconductor switch; and a device to carry out a measurement of a value dependent on the level of the current flowing through the semiconductor switch, in the course of a switch-off process of the semiconductor switch. The value is either the level of the gate current at a point in time or in a time window after the start of the switch-off process or a timespan from the start of the switch-off process until a definable threshold value of the voltage drop across the semiconductor switch is reached. Depending on the size of the value, the device activates a control measure to reduce the change over time in the current flowing through the semiconductor switch.

Driver circuit and method for controlling a semiconductor switch

A method and switch module are for operating a load zone on a power grid. In an embodiment of the method, at least one load profile is captured and stored during setup operation of the load zone, documenting a temporal progression of a load zone current or voltage in a time window after closing of the current path. Based on the at least one load profile, a tolerance range for the temporal progression of at least one operating parameter of the load zone in the time window is defined. During normal operation of the load zone, the temporal progression of the at least one operating parameter in the time window after closing the current path is monitored and the load zone is disconnected from the power grid upon the temporal progression of an operating parameter in the time window, after closing the current path, being outside the tolerance range.

Operating a load zone on a power grid

A method for operating an electronic module which includes at least three semiconductor elements is disclosed. In the event of a defect of one of the semiconductor elements, by targeted control of at least two of the other semiconductor elements, a current is conducted via the defective semiconductor element in order to destroy or disconnect the defective semiconductor element or a weak point associated with the defective semiconductor element. This current is distributed to the semiconductor elements which are controlled in a targeted manner.

Fault-tolerant operation of a current converter

A transformer for a DC-DC converter, such as a resonant converter, is provided. The converter includes a transformer unit that includes at least one winding with a first winding connection and a second winding connection, and a capacitor assembly consisting of at least one capacitor with a first capacitor assembly connection and a second capacitor assembly connection. The capacitor assembly is arranged so as to lie against the transformer unit in order to form an assembly. The capacitor assembly connections are connected to the winding connections via one or more first connection parts in a specified manner with respect to the electric connections. The capacitor assembly connections and/or the winding connections are electrically connected to multiple second connection parts in a specified manner with respect to the electric connections for connecting to a first power module and a second power module.

Transformer for a DC/DC voltage converter

An energy supply network has a bus line with a line impedance for energy distribution. The energy supply network also includes a number of power-electronic converters having a respective commutation capacitor wherein the storage capacity thereof is selected in such a way that a controlling of the associated power-electronic converter is guaranteed during operation of the energy supply network and an excess of voltage is managed during a commutation. At least one energy accumulator is provided, which can be connected selectively to the bus line by controlling a switch device via a computer unit, wherein the storage capacity of the energy accumulator is substantially greater than the storage capacity of a respective commutation capacitor.

Energy supply network

A resonant DC-DC converter includes an inverter circuit, a rectifier circuit and a transformer unit. The inverter circuit is connected to a first terminal of the transformer unit, and the rectifier circuit is connected to a second terminal of the transformer unit. The first and second terminals are galvanically isolated from one another by a first transformer. The transformer unit is configured to adapt a transformation ratio of the transformer unit. The transformer unit has an energy transmission path which includes an inverter and a second transformer, with an input of the energy transmission path being arranged parallel to a primary side of the first transformer and an output of the energy transmission path being arranged in series with the secondary side of the first transformer.

Resonant DC-DC converter

A converter for an aircraft includes an intermediate circuit for providing a DC voltage between a positive line and a negative line, at least two rectifiers connected to the intermediate circuit to produce the DC voltage from input AC voltages and at least two inverters connected to the intermediate circuit to produce AC output voltages from the DC voltage. The DC voltage terminals of the rectifiers are connected to a first series circuit and the DC voltage terminals of the inverters are connected to a second series circuit. The positive line and the negative line of the intermediate circuit are connected on an input side via the first series circuit and on the output side via the second series circuit. At least one of the DC voltage terminals includes a short circuit for short-circuiting terminal contacts by which the DC voltage terminal is connected to the respective series circuit.
