The invention relates to a light curing appliance, in particular a dental light curing appliance (), with a light source and with a light emission element such as an optical waveguide (), of which the light output end is intended in particular to be directed towards a material that is to be polymerized. It is provided with one or more control devices () for switching on the light source during a polymerization cycle, and with one or more sensors () or sensor combinations connected to the control devices (). The sensor () is designed as a location sensor and/or as a motion sensor () which detects a movement of the light curing appliance (), designed as a hand-held appliance, and sends signals reproducing the motion to the control devices ().

The invention relates to a dental restoration production device, comprising a curable dental restoration material () and a radiation-curing device by means of which the curable dental restoration material () can be cured using light radiation, UV radiation and/or heat radiation in order to produce a dental restoration part (), and comprising an add-on () or attachment to the radiation-curing device, which faces said dental restoration material () or can be directed thereto, wherein said attachment or add-on () has a molding surface that corresponds to the target shape of the surface () of the dental restoration material () and forms a negative mold () therefor on the region facing the radiation-curing device.

The invention concerns a process for the approach to an oriented relative position between a camera or scanning device and a dental assistance element (), in particular via an app on a smartphone, for recording the dental assistance element (), such as a miniature shade guide (). A mark () is attached to the dental assistance element (), and/or at least one part of the dental assistance element () is used as a mark (). A stencil () which is congruent with or mathematically similar to the mark () is displayed on a display device of the camera or scanning device. The invention relates to a light-curing device, comprising a plurality of individual LED chips, each associated to a reflector, which LED chips are in particular each separately controllable and are arranged about a common central axis, in particular in each case at the same distance, and comprising reflection elements of the reflectors which adjoin one another, wherein the distance of the reflectors from one another is in each case substantially less, in particular less than a fifth, of the reflectors' diameter. The reflection elements () are arranged like a clover leaf and are part of a common reflector body () which separates the reflection elements (-) from one another by means of dividing walls (), and the reflector body () has externally on the reflection elements (-) reinforcing walls () which&#x2014;in relation to each cone ()&#x2014;lie opposite the central axis ().

Light-curing device

The invention relates to a homogenizer having an input surface and an output surface which are incongruent to one another, at least one inclined surface extending between the input surface and the output surface. The inclined surface is corrugated. According to the invention, the homogenizer is designed as a hollow element which surrounds the LED chips () reflectively.
