A cutting blade includes a first and a second elongated frame part, and projections protruding from the first and the second elongated frame part in the cross direction. The first and the second frame part are attached to each other by blades, the blades being individually attached to the first frame part at first pivot points and to the second frame part at second pivot points so that the opposite ends of the blades protrude from the first and second pivot points, respectively, in the cross direction of the frame parts. The first and the second elongated frame part are movable relative to each other to rotate the blades around the first and second pivot points and to generate a cutting movement between each end of the blade and projection approaching each other.

Cutting blade

A cutting tool includes a first lever having a first end and a second end, the first end being connected to a second elongated element in an articulated manner at a third pivot point and the second end being arranged to engage with a tongue in a metal plate to transmit force from the second elongated element to a first blade in the metal plate so as to perform a cutting movement with a cutting jaw when the first and the second elongated elements are shifted towards one another. The cutting tool also comprises an engagement device provided in the tongue and arranged to receive the second end of the lever optionally at two or more engagement points with respect to the first pivot point so as to perform stepwise cutting movements. The engagement points are placed in the tongue successively away from the third pivot point.

A cutting tool includes a metal plate including a blade that forms a cutting jaw with an anvil, the metal plate being connected in an articulated manner to an anvil part at a first pivot point and connected operationally to a first elongated element having a first tooth gear part for opening and closing the cutting jaw in response to the relative turning movement of the first elongated element and a second elongated element, having a second tooth gear part, about the second and the third pivot points respectively.

The invention relates to pruning shears comprising a cutting head () with a spring-loaded blade () acting in cooperation with a counter blade (), a drive mechanism () connected to the cutting head (), and an elongated handle () connected to the drive mechanism (). The drive mechanism comprises a first and a second counterpart (), optionally rotating with respect to one another about an axis (), allowing the cutting head () to be adjusted with respect to the elongated handle (), and an upper line arrangement allowing the blade () to be turned about a hinge point () and the cutting head to be adjusted in such a manner that the blade () does not rotate about the hinge point ().

A cutting tool includes a first handle, a second handle, a first cutting blade attached to the first handle at a first pivot point, and a second cutting blade attached to the second handle at a second pivot point. The first and the second cutting blades are engaged with one another at a pivot point for movement in a scissor-like manner between an open position and a closed position in response to rotational movement of the first and the second handles. The first handle includes a first toothed transmission part and the second handle includes a second toothed transmission part, the first and the second toothed transmission parts being arranged to be engaged with one another.

Pruning shears or corresponding cutters comprising a first elongated handle part, a first blade part arranged as an extension of the first handle part, a second blade part pivoted to the first blade part from a first pivot point, and a second elongated handle part pivoted at its first end to the second blade part from a second pivot point. The second elongated handle part is connected to the first elongated handle part with at least one shaft pivotally connected to both the first and second elongated handle parts. The first and second elongated handle parts are arranged in the open position of the shears in remain along their entire length at a distance from each other enabling the use of the shears with one hand along the entire length of the handle parts.

Pruning shears or corresponding cutters

The invention relates to a device for removing plants or the like from the ground. The device comprises an elongated shaft, a ground support pivoted to a first end of the shaft transversely in relation to the longitudinal axis thereof and at least two blades including grip ends forming an extension of the shaft. The device is characterized in that the blades are pivoted in respect of the ground support transversely in relation to the longitudinal axis of the shaft and functionally connected together such that turning the shaft and the ground support in respect of each other causes the grip ends of the blades to move towards one another, thus enabling to grip the plant.

Device for removing plants or the like from ground

The invention relates to shears comprising a stationary blade () and a movable blade () which moves during the shearing movement of the shears. An operating mechanism () is arranged to affect a point of the pin () located at a distance from the movable blade (). When the shears are being closed, a force is thus generated which also tries to pull the movable blade () towards and against the stationary blade () and to keep the blades () in contact with each other. The operating mechanism () is arranged to affect the joint pin () through a sleeve-like part (). The interior of the sleeve comprises two conical sections (), the narrowest point of the interior of the sleeve determining the point from which the sleeve-like part () affects the joint pin ().

Shears

A hedge having two opposing cutting blades connected to handles. Both of the cutting blades and both of the handles have gear elements formed as part of the blade or handle. The gear element of one handle engages the gear element of one of the cutting blades, while the gear element of the other handle engages the gear element of the other cutting blade so that a variable force is provided throughout the cutting stroke.

Double gear hedge shears

A pruner has a first elongated member and a second elongated member coupled to a metal plate. The metal plate has a central aperture, a forwardly extending blade and a rearwardly extending tang having a second aperture offset from the central aperture. A jaw is mounted on the first elongated member. A power lever having a first end and a second end. A first coupler pivotably mounted in the central aperture and coupling the first member to the plate, with a second coupler pivotably mounted in the second aperture and coupling the second member to the plate. The power lever is coupled to the first and second elongated members by a third coupler pivotably coupling the first end of the power lever to the second member and a fourth coupler pivotably coupling the second end of the power lever to the first member. The power lever forces the second member to move linearly toward the first member for pivotable movement of the blade and jaw in response to linear movement of the first and second members.

The present invention relates to scissor action tools which comprise first and second cutting elements pivotable about a first joint in a first plane of movement and first and second hand levers pivotable about a second joint in a second plane of movement. One end of the first cutting element is pivotally connected to one end of the first hand lever at a third joint and one end of the second cutting element is pivotally connected to one end of the second hand lever at a fourth joint, a line connecting the third and fourth joint forming a meeting line between the first and second plane of movement. The third and fourth joint allow the angle between the first and second plane of movement to be adjusted.
