A fluid sensor includes a metal housing body, which has a box and a flanged ring circumferentially surrounding the box. A housing jacket is formed from plastic material and disposed on an exterior side of the housing body. A sealing ring, which is situated circumferentially on top of the flanged ring, subdivides the housing jacket into two sections that are insulated from each other.

A microstructured sensor for detecting IR radiation includes: one measuring channel having a measuring diaphragm, on which a first sensitive detector surface is implemented for the absorption of a first IR radiation; and one reference channel having a reference diaphragm, on which a second sensitive detector surface is implemented for the absorption of a second IR radiation. A measuring structure, e.g., a thermopile measuring structure as a series circuit made of thermocouple pairs, is implemented between the measuring diaphragm and the reference diaphragm for measuring a temperature differential between the measuring diaphragm and the reference diaphragm. First and second thermal contacts lie alternately on the two diaphragms.

Microstructured sensor for the detection of IR radiation

A capacitive fill level sensor for determining a fill level of a liquid is described. Two electrodes are provided having a plastic sheathing and a capacitance measuring device for detecting the electrical capacitance between the electrodes. An estimator device is used for estimating a fill level of a liquid between the electrodes based on the detected electrical capacitance, taking into account different dielectric constants for sections of the plastic sheathing in the liquid and outside of the liquid.

The quantitative determination of aging effects on motor oil is of great interest. According to a method, two variables of the motor oil are detected, one of the two variables being the viscosity and the other variable being the acid content of the motor oil. A first deviation of the detected first variable from a default value is then determined, and the second variable is estimated based on the deviation. By determining a second deviation of the estimated second variable from the detected second variable, the second deviation is determined as a measure of the aging effect on the motor oil. Since various aging effects influence the two variables in different manners, individual aging effects may be quantitatively determined in a targeted manner.

A device for controlling a ventilation system in the interior of a motor vehicle includes a gas concentration determining arrangement to determine the exterior concentration of a gas in the exterior air surrounding the vehicle and to determine the interior concentration of the same gas in the air contained in the interior of the vehicle, and an air flow control arrangement, via which the proportion of circulating air and the proportion of fresh air from the surroundings of the vehicle in the air delivered to the interior by the ventilation system are controlled as a function of the determined interior concentration or the determined exterior concentration. The gas concentration determining arrangement is represented by a single gas sensor.

The limiting frequency can be predefined according to the spurious component by means of a selection unit.
