An exhaust gas turbocharger for an internal combustion engine, particularly of a motor vehicle, is disclosed. The exhaust gas turbocharger includes a bearing housing having at least one through hole for a rotor of the exhaust gas turbocharger for supporting the rotor. At least one housing cover is connected to the bearing housing such that the through hole is sealed at least partially in the axial direction of the exhaust gas turbocharger. The housing cover is connected to the bearing housing by exactly one threaded element having an external thread, which threaded element is screwed to the bearing housing by its external thread and a corresponding internal thread of the bearing housing.

Exhaust gas turbocharger for an internal combustion engine, particularly of a motor vehicle

A turbine has a turbine housing with a receiving region, a turbine wheel which is disposed in the receiving region, a duct formed by the turbine housing, through which exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine can flow and which opens into the receiving region, and a tongue slide which has a tongue which is assigned to the duct and which can be displaced relative to the turbine housing about the rotational axis such that a flow cross section of the duct can be set. The exhaust gas which flows through the duct can be guided via the flow cross section into the receiving region and can be fed to the turbine wheel. The turbine is configured as a half-axial flow turbine in which a respective flow direction runs obliquely with respect to the axial direction and obliquely with respect to the radial direction of the turbine wheel.

High-efficiency Schottky diodes (HED) and rectifier systems having such semiconductor devices are provided, which Schottky diodes (HED) are composed of at least one Schottky diode combined with an additional semiconductor element, e.g., with magnetoresistors (TMBS) or with pn diodes (TJBS), and have trenches. Such high-efficiency Schottky diodes make it possible to construct rectifiers which are suitable for higher temperatures and can therefore be used in motor vehicle generators, without particular cooling measures such as heat sinks being required.

When a load shutoff is recognized, a switch is controlled to be transmissive so that energy produced by the load shutoff is stored in an energy reservoir.
