The invention relates to an inhalation therapy device with a nozzle nebuliser, in particular with a nozzle nebuliser having a nozzle element which is easy to clean and is thereby simple and reliable to handle so that the nozzle is not damaged and the geometry of the nozzle is not affected during cleaning. The aerosol generator comprises a nozzle element, said nozzle consisting of at least a first part and a second part, said first part of the nozzle element being made of a more resilient material than said second part of the nozzle element, and said first part of the nozzle element being attached to said second part of the nozzle element. Owing to the resilient material, the nozzle can deform during cleaning and can return to the original shape without altering its initial geometry.

Inhalation therapy device with a nozzle nebuliser

A therapeutic aerosol device in which an aerosol generated by a nebulising device is supplied through a nosepiece to a patient's nostril so that the main aerosol flow supplied is able to emerge from the other nostril. The main aerosol flow is superimposed by pressure fluctuations. In order to guarantee that, due to the pressure fluctuation, aerosol is transported to the paranasal sinuses, a low resistance device is provided in the other nostril.

The aim of the invention is to connect a nebulizer to a breathing air tube of a respirator. The invention describes an inhalation or breathing mask for therapeutic nebulisers, in which around a connecting socketfor the therapeutic nebuliser is arranged an exhalation valve consisting of exhalation openings and a flexible valve element. The exhalation openingsare formed by exhalation channelsand can be closed individually by closure devices, for example stoppers, in order to set a predefined exhalation resistance.

To increase the accuracy of the administration of doses of inhalation therapies for animals, the invention proposes a two-part inhalation mask for animals in which each mask part () comprises an aerosol chamber () and an adaptation chamber (). The two chambers are separated by a dividing wall () with an opening for the aerosol so that during the inhalation phases, the aerosol passes together with the respiratory air out of the aerosol chamber () into the adaptation chamber ().
