The invention relates to a method for determining the material moisture of a material, comprising the following steps: referencing a material using a referencing device by determining the material moisture of a material sample of the material in accordance with the mass of the material sample; determining the dielectric material constant (DProbe) of the material sample in accordance with the material moisture; calibrating a first microwave sensor using the dielectric material constant of the material sample; measuring the dielectric material constant of the material online by means of the first microwave sensor; determining the material moisture of the material using the dielectric material constant previously measured online.

A weapons system with at least two HEL effectors, which have at least one beam guidance system, the use of only one laser source or one pump source for the at least two HEL effectors is provided. The beam guidance systems of the HEL effectors resort to the common laser source or common pump source. An optical link of the common laser source or of the common pump source with the beam guidance system, be it direct or indirect, is implemented by means of at least one optical switching unit, and so at least one functional, complete HEL effector of the weapons system is provided to defend against threats.

It is proposed to make a threat better visible for a defensive measure. In this context, the threat () should be imaged more intensely for the defensive measure. The invention relates to a device and a method wherein tunable transmitters and detectors (receivers) are integrated into a non-linear detection system and a narrow-band signal having a variable frequency is used. The scanable frequency range should be between 10-100 MHz. The frequency acceptance range for the second and third harmonic is adjusted according to the transmit frequency.

The participants of a friendly communication system use so-called time windows in the interference pattern for the communication and transmission among each other. These time windows are preset ahead of time in the communication system by the jamming transmitter or are created and/or adapted individually and short-term with the aid of software programs. Since only the communication-system participants can recognize and/or detect these time windows, they are the only ones that can receive and/or transmit corresponding information during these time windows. The information is compressed in the known manner, such that it can be transmitted and received completely during the brief time window provided. The information can then be decompressed and read during the time of interference in the known manner.
