A hinge assembly including a drive device and a hinge having a hinge arm for moving a pivoting element of an appliance or piece of furniture. The pivoting element is mounted movably on a body of the appliance or furniture by means of the hinge. One side of the hinge is attached to the body and another side of the hinge is attached to the pivoting element. The drive device has a drive motor unit with an end section coupled to the hinge arm. First and second flange components arrange the drive motor unit on the pivoting element. The drive motor unit is arranged on the pivoting element by the first and second flange components. The first and second flange components each have an attachment section for fastening the respective flange component and each have a coupling section for coupling the drive motor unit to the respective flange component.

A hinge having a hinge cup, an articulation mechanism and a hinge arm, wherein the hinge cup is connected to the hinge arm in a pivotable manner via the articulation mechanism. A device for moving a furniture part on an item of furniture, including a guide configured as an articulated lever releasably disposed on an assembly member of the device, which is assembled on the furniture part. The guide includes a securing member movably disposed on the articulated lever and capable of being positioned relative to the articulated lever. In a first position of the securing member a pivoting range of the guide is delimited by the securing member such that the guide in a closing movement is not capable of being moved from the opened position to the closed position. In a second position of the securing member the pivoting range of the guide is released such that the guide, in the closing movement from the opened position, reaches the closed position.

A device is proposed for moving a furniture flap received on a furniture body of a piece of furniture having a spring-force unit, which assists the opening and/or the closing of the furniture flap by a predetermined force action of the spring-force unit via an adjusting arm engaging with the furniture flap in the mounted state. According to the invention, an electrically switchable adjusting unit is provided, which is coupled to the spring-force unit in such a way that a movement of the spring-force unit into a predetermined adjustment position of the spring-force unit on the piece of furniture occurs by a switching of the adjusting unit in the mounted state of the device so that a degree of force action of the spring-force unit on the furniture flap can be adjusted in dependence on the adjustment position of the spring-force unit.

A longitudinally displaceable piston on opposing sides forms two variable size working chambers filled with a damping medium via at least one overflow connection. A piston rod led out of the housing is connected to one side of the piston. An adjustment shaft is connected to one side of the piston opposite one of the working chambers, its free end is also led out of the housing. A throttle disc radially protrudes from the circumferential surface of the adjustment shaft. The throttle disc being disposed in a region of an end of a piston passage bore connecting the two working chambers and configuring the overflow connection abutting a front surface of the piston. Recesses in the throttle disc offset from each other circumferentially have different cross-sections. The recesses may be selectively aligned by rotating the adjustment shaft relative to the passage bore.

A piston mounted in housing in longitudinally displaceable manner which, due lo displacement, forms two variable-size working chambers on opposite sides with damping medium. Via overflow-connection, throttled transfer of damping medium is possible between two working chambers. Piston plunger, fed selectively, is connected on one side of pislon. Via the outer end of piston plunger, the motion of the furniture part to be damped is transferred to the piston. On side of piston, an elongated adjustment shaft is connected to the piston plunger. Free end of plunger is fed in sealed manner out of front face lying opposite front face that is sealed on the piston plunger side. The end of adjustment shaft engages with a passage duct connecting two working chambers and forms a variable-sized throttle cross section in the passage duct, making adjusting motion of shaft relative to piston.

An opening device including an elongate ejector ram mounted in a longitudinally displaceable manner in a housing and pretensioned at one end by a spring into a position in which it protrudes out of the housing and pushable back into the housing counter to the pretensioning. A releasable locking device locks the ejector ram in a position retracted in the housing. A tensioning device is provided forcibly displaces the ejector ram. When the movable furniture part is completely opened, a tensioning device forcibly displaces the ejector ram into the locking position retracted within the housing. The tensioning device converts the opening movement of the movable furniture part in the interior of the housing via a tensioning member having one end guided out of the housing into a movement pulling the ejector ram back into the retracted position.

The invention relates to a damping device for parts of furniture which are joined together by means of hinges and which can be pivoted in relation to each other. The housing contains a damping fluid in the cavity thereof and a resistance element which can be displaced relative to the damping fluid and connected to an actuating element protruding from the housing. During at least one part of the pivoting movement of both pieces of furniture, said actuating element is drivingly connected to the second piece of furniture and transfers the movement distributed to the second piece of furniture to the resistance element. The damping device is arranged in the region of at least one of the hinges which pivotally couples both pieces of furniture, and whereby either the damping housing and/or the actuating element engages with one of the mounting element of the corresponding hinges, at least during the damping process.

The support wall fitting, embodied as an extended support arm is arranged on a fitting plate () which may be fixed to the support wall of the body and coupled to the door leaf fitting, embodied as a hinge cup fitted in a recess in the back face of the door leaf (), by means of the joint mechanism, embodied with two joint arms () each connected to one of the fittings such as to pivot. A damping device acts on a support wall side hinge piece, for example the body fitting () or the fixing plate () and one of the joint arms (), at least during a locking part of the pivoting motion of said joint arm on a closing or opening motion of the door leaf fitting ().
