Fiber reinforced composition comprising a heterophasic propylene copolymer, a propylene homopolymer and/or a propylene copolymer, and fibers having an average diameter of 12.0 &#x3bc;m or less, wherein the propylene copolymer comprises not more than 2.0 wt.-% C2 to C10 &#x3b1;-olefins other than propylene, the propylene homopolymer and the propylene copolymer have a melt flow rate MFR(230&#xb0; C.) of at least 100 g/10 min, and the composition has a melt flow rate MFR(230&#xb0; C.) of at least 10 g/10 min.

High-flow fiber reinforced polypropylene composition

Fiber reinforced composition comprising (a) a polypropylene random copolymer comprising ethylene and/or Cto C&#x3b1;-olefin (PP-RACO), (b) fibers (F), and (c) a polar modified polypropylene as adhesion promoter (AP), wherein (i) the polypropylene random copolymer comprising ethylene and/or Cto C&#x3b1;-olefin (PP-RACO) heaving a melt flow rate MFR(230&#xb0; C.) measured according to ISO 1133 of at least 5 g/10 min, (ii) the fibers (F) are selected from the group consisting of glass fibers, metal fibers, ceramic fibers and graphite fibers, and (iii) the polymer contained in the reinforced composition forms a continuous phase being the matrix of the fiber reinforced composition.
