A damping device for absorbing and/or damping vibrations of a vehicle part or isolating and/or damping a vibrating vehicle component includes a mass element, a fastening element for fastening the damping device to a vehicle part, and a spring device connecting the mass element to the fastening element to be capable of oscillation. The mass element or fastening element having a fastening device for fastening the spring device. The mass element and/or vehicle part comprises a supporting devices for supporting the spring device, wherein the spring device comprises a fastening device fixed to the fastening means and at least two supporting portions supported in opposite axial direction on the supporting device. The fastening device and supporting device are spaced apart in axial direction such that when supporting sections bear against the supporting device, the spring device is preloaded. The invention relates to a method of assembling a damping device.

Damping apparatus and method for assembly

A shaft vibration absorber for absorbing vibrations of a shaft includes an elastomer body that is reached through by a central longitudinal centre axis. In embodiments, the elastomer body includes holding geometries that protrude in the radial direction and extend in the longitudinal direction for pressing the shaft vibration absorber to the shaft. The holding geometries may be arranged in each case in two first angle windows that lie opposite one another with regard to the longitudinal centre axis with a width of in each case at most 90°. With embodiments, the shaft vibration absorber can configure a radial pressing force of the shaft along a first tuning axis that runs in the radial direction, and the radial pressing force may be greater than a pressing force in a spatial direction that differs therefrom and runs in the radial direction.

Shaft vibration absorber

An elastic bearing comprising a mass having at least one mounting hole for a mounting sleeve, the mounting hole having a central longitudinal axis passing therethrough, at least one mounting sleeve having a collar section extending in the radial direction and a shaft section extending in the longitudinal direction, the mounting sleeve being fixed in the mounting hole, and an elastomeric body arranged on the outer circumferential side of the mounting sleeve. In an embodiment, the elastomer body has, in the region of the shaft section, a diameter-widening contour whose diameter increases with increasing longitudinal distance from the collar section, and the mounting hole having a diameter-widening contour which widens to the same extent as the diameter-widening contour of the elastomer body. In embodiments, the elastomer body is prestressed by the mass and the mounting sleeve at least in the radial direction.

Elastic bearing

A decoupling ring suitable for a planetary gear is disclosed. A decoupling ring includes an annular elastomeric base body and elastomeric formations. In embodiments, the elastomeric formations are uniformly spaced apart from one another, project in the radial direction from the base body, and run parallel to a central longitudinal axis passing centrally through the decoupling ring. With embodiments of the decoupling ring it is possible for the decoupling ring to be arranged on the circumferential side of a ring gear of a planetary gear.
