A power relay for a vehicle is disclosed. The power relay has a housing formed by a connector base and a housing can set thereon, two connection bolts being inserted into the connector base for contacting a load circuit. The power relay further has a coil subassembly arranged in the housing and containing a solenoid coil and an armature. The armature is coupled by a force-transmission member to a contact bridge and can shift in the housing, under the effect of a magnetic field generated by the solenoid coil, in such a way that the contact bridge can be reversibly moved between a closing position, in which the contact bridge bridges the connection bolts in an electro conducting manner, and an opening position, in which the contact bridge is not in contact with the connection bolts. The housing can is configured as an injection-molded component made of plastic.

Power relay for a vehicle

A power relay for a vehicle, in particular a utility vehicle, is disclosed. The power relay contains a housing formed by a connecting base and a housing pot that is placed on the connecting base. Accordingly, two connecting bolts for establishing contact with an on-load circuit are formed by standard screws.

A high-voltage motor vehicle electric system contains a high-voltage battery and a consumer network which are interconnected by an electric cable, and a quick-break switch for disconnecting the high-voltage battery from the consumer network. The quick-break switch receives an airbag signal. The airbag signal is used for actuating the quick-break switch to sever the electric cable supplying power to the consumer network.

A power relay for a vehicle has a housing and two connecting bolts that are introduced into the housing so as to contact a load current circuit. The power relay further having a coil assembly that is arranged in the housing, the coil assembly contains a magnetic coil and a magnetic armature that is coupled by way of a force-transferring member to a contact bridge that can be moved in a reversible manner between a closed position and an opened position and can be displaced in the housing under the effect of a magnetic field that is generated by the magnetic coil. The contact bridge supports two contact elements that together with the mating contacts of the connecting pin form a first contact pair and a second contact pair. The contact pairs form a three point bearing arrangement in the closed position.

An electromagnetic relay, in particular a motor vehicle relay, contains a magnet yoke, a relay coil, a hinged armature which is pivotable about an axis of rotation and on which a moving contact, as working or switchover contact, is retained relative to at least one fixed contact. A piezo actuator is provided, which keeps the working or switchover contact closed when the relay coil is de-energized as a result of the actuation of the piezo actuator.

Electromagnetic relay

A protection switch includes a plurality of single-pole protection switch modules in a mechanically coherent unit forming a multi-pole protection switch configuration. Each module includes a housing, a switching arm, a moving contact on the switching arm pivotably movable against a fixed contact between closed and open positions, a manual operating mechanism for adjusting the switching arm between the closed and open positions and a tripping mechanism for automatically resetting the switching arm into the open position upon a tripping condition. The manual operating mechanisms of all modules are coupled so that the modules are only switched jointly. The tripping mechanisms of all modules are coupled so that the tripping mechanism of each also trips all others. A one-piece coupling is insertable between adjoining modules for both mechanically fixing the modules to one another and coupling the manual operating mechanisms and the tripping mechanisms of the adjoining protection switch modules.

Protection switch

A protection switch, particularly for fast switching, includes at least one single-pole protection switch module having a housing, a movable contact mounted on a switching arm for pivoting against a fixed contact between closed and open positions, a manual operating mechanism manually setting the switching arm between the closed and open positions, and a tripping mechanism automatically resetting the switching arm into the open position upon a tripping condition. The switching arm is spring-loaded in direction of the open position and includes a latch lever latching with the manual operating mechanism, and a contact lever carrying the moveable contact. The latch lever is pivotably mounted on the housing and joined to the contact lever by a hinge. The tripping mechanism includes a trip slider to be displaced by a trip device from a ready position towards a tripping position, to load the switching arm for rotationally fixing the contact lever.

A protection switch, particularly for rapid quenching of electrical arcing, includes at least one single-pole protection switch module having a housing, a movable contact mounted on a switching arm for pivoting against a fixed contact between a closed position and an open position and a quenching device for quenching electrical arcing of the switch. The quenching device includes a quenching chamber with an inlet and an outlet for the arc. A first running rail connects the fixed contact with a first side wall of the quenching chamber and a second running rail connects a stopping surface, against which the movable contact abuts in the open position of the switching arm, to a second side wall of the quenching chamber. A separation strip extends substantially from side wall to side wall at the outlet of the quenching chamber.

A current distributor includes a common, uninterrupted first main busbar as a main current supply and a number of current distributor modules which are each associated with a respective circuit breaker and can be disposed in a row along the main busbar. The current distributor module or each current distributor module has a first connection line for supplying current to a load circuit. The current distributor module or each current distributor module has a housing, a slot formed on a front side of the housing for plugging on an associated circuit breaker, and a first channel which passes through the housing in a transverse direction for accommodating the first main busbar. A first contact opening of the slot corresponds to the first channel and a second contact opening of the slot corresponds to a housing receptacle for a connection socket of the first connection line.
