A filter element analysis system for analyzing a filter element within a vehicle, the system including various filter sensors so as to provide information regarding various filter element parameters, a locator which configured provide vehicle position information such that conditions regarding the vehicle environment can be tracked and correlated to the location, as well as a means for transmitting information to a remote server for analysis and tracking of the filter element information with regard to environmental conditions such that a filter element status, remaining filter life, or particle load and replacement timeline can be calculated and updated so as to provide more accurate predictive models of the filter element conditions. As well as provide alerts regarding the need and scheduling of replacement or cleaning of a particular filter element.

Filter element analysis system and associated methods

A filter device is provided with a filter housing and a filter element arranged in the filter housing. The filter element is provided with an annular filter medium body that has an inflow side. The filter housing has a dirt collecting region in flow communication with the inflow side of the annular filter medium body. The dirt collecting region has an annular circumferentially extending configuration. A flow-tight separation element is arranged at or adjacent to the annular filter medium body. The dirt collecting region adjoins the flow-tight separation element. An inflow region is positioned at the inflow side of the annular filter medium body and immediately adjoins the dirt collecting region. The dirt collecting region has a radial extension relative to a longitudinal axis of the annular filter medium body, and the radial extension of the dirt collecting region is larger than a radial extension of the inflow region.

Filter device, in particular for gas filtration

A filter housing for a filter device is provided with an inlet housing arranged upstream of a filter element. The inlet housing has an inflow opening for introducing a fluid to be purified into the filter housing. The inlet housing has an overflow opening at an outlet of the inlet housing, wherein the overflow opening conveys the fluid to be purified to the filter element. The inlet housing has an inlet channel disposed between the inflow opening and the overflow opening. The inlet channel has an intermediately positioned channel section located between the inflow opening and the overflow opening, wherein a cross-sectional shape of the intermediately positioned channel section differs from a cross-sectional shape of the inflow opening and from a cross-sectional shape of the overflow opening.

Filter housing for a filter device

A filter device is provided with a filter housing provided with a housing wall and with a filter element arranged in the filter housing. The filter element has an annular filter medium body and an end disk arranged at an end face of the filter medium body. The filter medium body surrounds in a ring shape an inwardly positioned flow space for receiving a fluid to be filtered. An annular circumferentially extending flow path is positioned between an outer contour of the end disk and an inner side of the housing wall of the filter housing. Guide vanes project into the annular circumferentially extending flow path. The guide vanes are fastened at the end disk at the filter element. A cover is arranged at the end disk at the filter element and covers a portion of the annular circumferentially extending flow path.

Filter device comprising a filter element in a filter housing

An air dryer cartridge for reducing moisture of air supplied to an electronics housing has a cartridge housing containing a drying agent through which air is guided. A sensor unit of an optical measuring system is provided for determining the moisture content of the drying agent. The cartridge has a light-permeable casing surface section so that an optical signal emitted from the optical measuring system can pass through the casing surface section. In the method for determining a moisture content of the drying agent of the air dryer cartridge, an optical signal from a sending module is emitted onto or through the drying agent and received by a receiving module where a measured value is determined. The moisture content is determined by comparing the measured value with a data set of measured value-specific values for moisture contents or by a calculation rule for moisture content based on measured value.

Air dryer cartridge and device comprising an air dryer cartridge

A filter module is provided with a filter housing provided with an inflow opening. A filter element with an annular filter medium body with an elongate cross-sectional shape is arranged inside the filter housing. A flow path is defined between the inflow opening of the filter housing and an inflow side of the filter medium body. A swirl device is arranged in the flow path and impresses a swirl onto an incoming fluid. The swirl device is a part separate from an outer wall of the filter housing. The swirl device is arranged axially upstream of the inflow side of the filter medium body. The swirl device is provided with a displacement body arranged inside the filter housing adjacent to the inflow opening. The displacement body forms a flow guiding element.

Filter module comprising a filter element in a filter housing

A filter element is provided with an annular filter medium body and an end disk arranged at an end face of the annular filter medium body. Guide vanes are arranged adjacent to the end disk, wherein the guide vanes extend radially past an outer contour of the end disk and project into a flow path upstream of an inflow side of the annular filter medium body. The guide vanes are held at the end disk.

Filter element, in particular for gas filtration

A rechargeable battery assembly for a vehicle has a metal-air rechargeable battery and a filter device to condition inlet air supplied to the metal-air rechargeable battery such that the inlet air exhibits predetermined inlet air values. The filter device has one or more filter elements, one or more sensor devices that determine at least one inlet air parameter, and one or more valve devices. A control system is coupled to the sensor devices so as to receive sensor signals for the at least one inlet air parameter and is coupled to the valve devices. The control system adjusts, depending on the received sensor signals, the valve devices in order to control the predetermined inlet air value in that the inlet air is guided through the filter elements; is guided past the filter elements; or is guided to an air outlet for regenerating the filter elements.

Rechargeable battery assembly for a vehicle

A rechargeable battery assembly for a vehicle has a housing and at least one metal-air rechargeable battery arranged in the housing. A filter device is arranged in the housing and conditions the inlet air of the at least one metal-air rechargeable battery such that the inlet air exhibits a predetermined air humidity. A flow deflecting device is provided that deflects the inlet air in the housing such that the filter device can be regenerated by waste heat of the at least one metal-air rechargeable battery.

A central element () is arranged rotatably about the longitudinal axis (L) relative to the filter bellows () in the interior () of the filter bellows (). The central element () has one or multiple positioning elements () which interact with counter positioning elements () of an upper housing part () to fix the central element in the upper housing part () in a defined angular position. The central element () has at least one electrical connector element () on the element, electrically contacting at least one electrical connector element () on the housing.

A seal arrangement for a housing for receiving a battery has a valve arrangement for compensating a pressure differential between an interior of the housing for receiving a battery and an environment outside of the housing for receiving a battery. A desiccant is provided for removing moisture from a gas contained in the interior or gas that flows into the housing for receiving a battery. A chamber is provided that is connected to the valve arrangement and that contains the desiccant, wherein the chamber and the valve arrangement are in gas-conducting communication with each other.

Filter element

An ion exchanger for a coolant circuit is provided with a housing that has an inlet and an outlet for a coolant. An ion exchanger medium is disposed in the housing. The housing is made of a plastic material and is an injection-molded part. A first plastic filter element is arranged in the outlet and embedded by injection molding in the first plastic material of the housing. In the inlet, a second plastic filter element is arranged and embedded by injection molding in the plastic material of the housing.
