The invention relates to a folding machine for the graphics industry. The machine has a folder, at least one pair of blade shafts following the folder, and a separate roll frame that supports the pair of blade shafts. In order to be able to perform changeover operations on the pair of blade shafts as ergonomically as possible without partial dismantling of the folding machine, the folding machine is equipped with a guide for the roll frame and with an actuating device (e.g., tooth rack, pinion, crank) for displacing the roll frame along the guide.

An apparatus for forming stacks of flat workpieces and for banding or banderoling the stacks includes a stacking station, a banding or banderoling station, and an endless conveyor for cyclically conveying stacking shafts provided to the endless conveyor. A respective first band guide is formed on a respective one of the stacking shafts and a second band guide is disposed in the banding station. The second band guide together with the respective first band guide form an at least approximately intrinsically closed guide path.

Apparatus for banderoling or banding stacks of flat workpieces

In a perforating apparatus which has a holder to which a perforating blade can be fastened, the perforation is produced via the movement of a piston by the piston pressing against an air cushion, which in turn transmits this pressure to a perforating piston which presses the perforating blade downward. A positioning device which directly varies the position of the piston unit relative to the housing surface is provided for the zero setting of the piston.
