A micromechanical component for a micromirror-based laser system for detecting an incident laser beam. Two sensor diodes are situated on a shared substrate in the micromechanical component, only one of the two sensor diodes being designed as a photodiode. The further sensor diode supplies an output signal independent of an incidence of light. By comparing the two output signals of the two diodes, an incidence of light in the micromechanical component may be inferred.

Capacitive sensor for detecting a medium, and corresponding method

A sensor includes a variable capacitor, a fixed capacitor, an inductor, a switch that electrically connects the variable capacitor with the inductor or the fixed capacitor with the inductor, an oscillator that generates a periodic signal, and a controller connected to the switch, the oscillator, and the inductor. The controller operates the switch, identifies a frequency of a first oscillation of the variable capacitor and the inductor based on the periodic signal from the oscillator, identifies a frequency of a second oscillation of the fixed capacitor and the inductor based on the periodic signal from the oscillator, and identifies a capacitance of the variable capacitor based on a ratio of the frequency of the first oscillation to the frequency of the second oscillation.

In one embodiment, a pressure sensor assembly for use with an application specific integrated circuit includes a capacitive sensor, a sensor coil within a first sensor compartment and operatively connected to the capacitive sensor to form a sensor L-C tank circuit, a measuring oscillator including a measuring coil located within a second sensor compartment and spaced apart from the sensor coil and a feedback circuit configured to provide a control signal for the measuring oscillator based upon an output of the measuring oscillator, and a low frequency signal source configured to provide a low frequency signal to the measuring oscillator.

In a method for regulating an excited oscillation of a system to a resonance case of the system, instantaneous values of the oscillating quantity are discretely recorded using one sampling frequency, and the sampling frequency is selected to be below twice a maximum frequency of the system. In addition, the following steps are provided: ascertaining an oscillation amplitude from the instantaneous values; regulating a control amplitude on the basis of the ascertained oscillation amplitude; specifying a control frequency on the basis of the control amplitude; generating a control oscillation in consideration of the control frequency; combining the oscillation amplitude and the control oscillation to form a control signal; and exciting the system in consideration of the control signal.
