Unmanned aerial vehicles and methods for unmanned aerial vehicles are described in various aspects herein. In at least one aspect, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) includes a cooling structure configured to dissipate heat, and an air channel configured to dissipate heat from the cooling structure via an airflow. The UAV also includes at least one fan configured to provide the airflow through the air channel, and one or more sensors configured to receive ambient condition information associated with an ambient condition in a vicinity of the UAV. The UAV further includes one or more processors configured to trigger a reduction of the airflow through the air channel based on the ambient condition information. The ambient condition information may include dust information indicating a dust pollution in the vicinity of the UAV. Additionally or alternatively, the ambient condition information may include weather information indicating rain in the vicinity of the UAV.

Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for wire-free charging. Some embodiments are particularly directed to a wire-free charging system that is able to limit or prevent a radio frequency (RF) signal source from interfering with operation of the wire-free charging system, such as, for instance, a transmitter (TX) signal of a cellular device being charged by the wire-free charging system. In some embodiments, a wire-free power source may be able to detect an RF signal source and alter one or more operational parameters of the wire-free charging system to prevent the RF signal source from interfering with operation of the wire-free charging system.

Techniques for wireless charging are described herein. For example, an apparatus includes a device formed in a loop. The apparatus may also include a receiving coil disposed around an entire length of the loop. Each turn of the wireless power receiving coil follows the entire length of the loop.

An example system for projector image alignment. The system for projector image alignment can include a processor to compare a first calibration-pattern image projected by a first projector and at least a portion of a second calibration-pattern image projected by a second projector and generate a geometric model of an aligned image for display by both the first projector and the second projector. The processor can also send a first projector portion of the aligned image to the first projector based on the geometric model of the aligned image.
