The subsea fuse assembly includes an enclosure filled with a dielectric fluid and provided with an equalization opening, which is sealed with a flexible element. A first electric conductor extends into the enclosure through a first lead-through positioned in a wall of the enclosure. A second electric conductor is attached to an inner surface of a wall of the enclosure. A fuse is connected between the first electric conductor and the second electric conductor within the enclosure. A third electric conductor extends outside the enclosure and is attached to an outer surface of a wall of the enclosure. An electrically conductive path is thus provided between the second electric conductor and the third electric conductor through the electrically conductive enclosure.

Subsea fuse assembly

An electrical assembly comprising a housing forming a liquid tank inside thereof, dielectric liquid in the liquid tank, at least one fuse, and a blown fuse indication system. Each of the fuses is immersed in the dielectric liquid, and is provided with a striker pin. The blown fuse indication system is adapted to indicate a blowout of any one of the fuses by an indication signal. The blown fuse indication system comprises a first indication member and a second indication member. The first indication member is movable by the striker pins. The second indication member is immovably connected to the housing, and adapted to generate the indication signal as a response to relative movement between the first indication member and the second indication member.

A subsea installation. The subsea installation comprises a tank containing an insulation fluid or other fluid, a heat generating electric apparatus positioned at least partly within the tanks, and a pressure compensator being in fluid communication with the tank and being configured to compensate volume variations of the insulation fluid or the other fluid by performing an expansive and a contracting movement. The subsea installation comprises further means for heating the insulation fluid or the other fluid, said means for heating being configured to provide heating to the insulation fluid or the other fluid with the heat generating electric apparatus is in a non-operating state in order to reduce the volume variations of the insulation fluid or the other fluid.

A method for estimating the remaining useful life of a pressure compensator of a subsea arrangement, the method including determining displacement data related to displacements of the pressure compensator during a time period; and estimating the remaining useful life of the pressure compensator in relation to a failure mode of the pressure compensator based on the determined displacement data of the pressure compensator. A subsea pressure compensation arrangement is disclosed as having a vessel filled with insulating fluid, and a pressure compensator for compensating pressure variations of the insulating fluid. The arrangement can include a fluid connection pipe for fluid communication between the vessel and the pressure compensator, wherein the fluid connection pipe is connected to a bottom wall of the pressure compensator. A pipe opening arranged at an end of the fluid connection pipe extends above a level of the bottom wall of the pressure compensator.
