An apparatus for a wearable device including a locking mechanism for components of the wearable device is described. A wearable ring device may include a ring-shaped housing configured to house one or more sensors configured to acquire physiological data from a user, and a flexible printed circuit board (PCB) including electrical circuitry for the one or more sensors. The wearable ring device may include one or more locking grooves disposed within an interior surface of the ring-shaped housing, the one or more locking grooves configured to receive the flexible PCB and maintain a gap between an inner circumferential surface of the ring-shaped housing and a first surface of the flexible PCB.

The invention relates to a system for indicating information representing battery status of an electronic device. The system comprises a charging unit and an electronic device. The charging unit comprises charging means, wireless communication means, and indication means. The electronic device comprises a rechargeable battery, charging means, and wireless communication means. During the wireless charging of the electronic device, the electronic device is configured to detect information representing the battery status of said electronic device and to communicate the detected information representing the battery status to the charging unit, and the charging unit is configured to receive the information from the electronic device and to indicate at least part of the received information representing the battery status of the electronic device. The invention relates also to a method for indicating information representing battery status of an electronic device.

The invention relates to a system for indicating information representing battery status of an electronic device. The system comprises a charging unit and an electronic device. The charging unit comprises: charging means; wireless communication means; and indication means. The electronic device comprises a rechargeable battery; charging means; and wireless communication means. During the wireless charging of the electronic device the electronic device is configured to detect information representing the battery status of said electronic device and to communicate the detected information representing the battery status to the charging unit, and the charging unit is configured to receive the information from the electronic device and to indicate at least part of the received information representing the battery status of the electronic device. The invention relates also to a method for indicating information representing battery status of an electronic device.

Disclosed is a chargeable device having a processing circuitry configured to detect a voltage level at a first point of the processing circuitry. The first point is electrically coupled via a first resistor to a source of measurement signal and via a diode to a second point. The second point being electrically coupled via a second resistor to a first charger contact of the chargeable device and via a third resistor to a second charger contact of the chargeable device. The processing circuitry is configured to determine, from the voltage level detected at the first point, whether or not the first charger contact and the second charger contact of the chargeable device are electrically connected to a charger and whether or not the charger is energized.

The invention relates to a circuit arrangement in association with the RF unit of a wireless terminal, in which circuit arrangement the RF unit and the antenna () of the wireless terminal are fabricated/mounted on the same circuit board () and where the antenna () is connected to the RF unit through at least one signal line (). In the circuit arrangement, the signal line () from the RF unit to the antenna () is electrically connected during the final assembly by means of a jumper () which is fabricated as part of a mechanical component () belonging to the terminal. With the arrangement according to the invention, the RF unit can be tested without interference from the antenna.

The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for producing an operating voltage of a desired form. A high-voltage operating voltage of a desired form is produced by means of a DC-AC converter. The desired operating voltage is usually a sine voltage. The DC-AC converter is controlled by means of a pulse form control signal of a signal generator, the pulse width of the control signal being controlled by means of a pulse width modulator. To change the pulse width of the control pulses, the operating voltage of a desired form produced by means of the DC-AC converter is compared with a reference signal and a comparator is used for forming a difference signal. The difference signal is used for controlling the pulse width of the control signal of the pulse generator in order to produce the operating voltage of a desired form.
