A method, apparatus, computer program and user interface wherein the method comprises: providing a plurality of user interface items in a menu structure where each user interface item is associated with at least one function of an apparatus; determining that a function associated with a user interface item is unavailable; removing the user interface item associated with the unavailable function from the menu structure; and providing a replacement user interface item in the position of the menu structure previously occupied by the removed user interface item.

Method, apparatus, computer program and user interface

This invention relates to a transmission of a media from a sending terminal to a receiving terminal. In a method for sending media from a sending terminal to a receiving terminal, at least part of the media is transmitted to the receiving terminal as a sequence of data packets and stored in the sending terminal, so that as a response to received data packets, notifications are returned from the receiving terminal, whereupon according to the notifications a presentation of the stored transmitted media is formed in the sending terminal. The invention relates also to a system, to a device, and to a computer program product.

A system and a method is shown for conducting electronic commerce. The system includes a mobile station () containing a user interface () and an application (A), which could cooperate with a user authentication module (A); and a computer () coupled to a data communications network (). The computer includes a browser (A) for contacting a site, such as a commerce related site, and a browser plug-in module (B) and/or a browser extension. The browser and plug-in (or extension) cooperate to detect a presence of a received message that requires a response from the user, such as an authentication of the user, or a digital signature, or a payment request, etc. The computer also includes an interface (C,D,E) for sending a message from the computer to the mobile station over a bidirectional link (). The mobile station application is responsive to the receipt of the message from the computer for generating a user response message and for passing the generated user response message to the computer over the link. The computer is responsive to a receipt of the user response message for sending user response information to the site using the browser. The mobile station, or the computer, operates to prompt the user to enter a personal identification number, and the entered PIN is compared to a PIN stored in the mobile station. The link may be implemented using Bluetooth technology.
