An applicator for dispensing a fluid includes a housing and a pump disposed within the housing. The applicator also includes a wand rotatably coupled to the housing. The applicator further includes a conduit that extends between the pump and the wand to deliver the fluid from the pump to the wand. The wand comprises a curved portion for receiving the conduit. The conduit, when disposed in the curved portion, intersects an axis about which the wand rotates.

Exemplary embodiments of wipes dispensing systems, wipes dispensing canisters and wipes dispensing mounting brackets are disclosed herein. An exemplary wipes dispensing system includes a wipes dispensing canister. The wipes dispensing canister includes one of a catch and a latch and a cap. A wall mounting bracket is included. The wall mounting bracket includes an opening for receiving the wipes dispensing canister, a first wall located on the inside of the opening and a second wall located on the inside of the opening. A cap ridge is formed between the first wall and the second wall. The wall mounting bracket further includes one of a catch and a latch. When the wipes dispensing canister is located within the wall mounting bracket, a bottom edge of the cap is located proximate the cap edge.

An exemplary dispenser includes a housing and a refill unit. The refill unit being removable and replaceable. The dispenser also includes a processor, memory, a dose count stored in memory that is indicative of the number of doses in a full refill unit, a level sensor for detecting a predetermined level the refill unit and a dispense count indicative of the number doses of product dispensed from the refill unit. In addition, the dispenser includes memory and has logic stored in the memory for recalibrating the number of doses remaining in the refill unit as a function of the dose count, the number of doses of product dispensed and the predetermined level of product. The number of doses of product remaining in the refill unit may be displayed on the dispenser, on a remote station, or on both the dispenser and a remote station.

A variable dose dispenser includes a housing, a sensor, a pump actuator, a drive mechanism and an adjustable drive member. The adjustable drive member is configured to connect to the drive mechanism in a first position and a second position. The adjustable drive member has a first surface with a first drive peg and a second surface with a second drive peg. The first drive peg is offset from a center of the adjustable drive member a first distance that is greater distance than the offset distance of the second drive peg. One of the first drive peg and the second drive peg engages the actuator and the other engage the drive mechanism. The adjustable drive member is secured to the pump actuator in a first position to dispense a first dose size and in a second position to dispense a second dose size.

An exemplary foam dispensing system includes a dispenser housing configured to be mounted below a counter, a spout configured to be mounted above a counter, a container supported by the dispenser housing, a pump in fluid communications with the container and configured to be mounted below a counter. The pump includes an air pump portion and a liquid pump portion. The pump also includes a mixing chamber. Liquid pumped from the liquid pump portion is mixed with air pumped from the air pump portion in the mixing chamber. A dispense tube is included that is configured to extend from the mixing chamber below a countertop to one or more mix media located above the countertop proximate an end of the spout. The one or more mix media are located near an end of the spout. An outlet nozzle is also provided and is located downstream of the one or more mix media.

Method and apparatus for calibrating remaining doses in a refillable dispenser

Exemplary embodiments of methodologies of obtaining more accurate compliance metrics are disclosed herein. An exemplary method of determining a compliance metric includes determining a number of dispense events and determining a number of opportunities for obtaining dispense events. The number of opportunities for obtaining dispense events is a function of the time between an entry event and a exit event, in addition, the compliance metric is a function of the number of dispense events and the number of opportunities.

One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for waste object detection. For example, a waste alert component is configured to emit ultraviolet light towards a waste detection zone, such as a bathroom floor or countertop. If a waste object, such as a paper towel or other object with a fluoresce property, exists within the waste detection zone, then the waste alert component may detect an increase in light due to the waste object fluorescing visible light in response to the ultraviolet light. If the increase in light intensity exceeds a detection threshold, then the waste alert component may provide a waste detection alert that the waste object exists within the waste detection zone (e.g., a message may be sent to a housekeeper that paper towel waste in on the bathroom countertop).

Exemplary methods and systems for dispensing soap sanitizer or lotion as a function of hand size are disclosed herein. An exemplary dispenser for dispensing a soap, sanitizer or lotion includes a housing, a processor in the housing, a reservoir for holding fluid, a pump for pumping the fluid and a sensor for sensing a parameter that is indicative of the hand size. The exemplary dispenser also includes circuitry for determining a dose volume of fluid to be dispensed as a function of the sensed parameter that is indicative of a hand size and circuitry for causing the pump to dispense the dose volume.
