A drive assembly for a vehicle may selectively couple a motor of the vehicle to a mobility assembly of the vehicle. The drive assembly may include a worm gear assembly having a worm engaged with a worm gear. The worm may be operably coupled to the motor of the vehicle, and the worm gear may be selectively coupled to a shaft of the mobility assembly. The drive assembly may be configured to move between a first configuration and a second configuration. In response to the drive assembly being in the first configuration, the worm gear assembly and the shaft of the mobility assembly may be operably coupled, and the worm gear assembly may be configured to selectively transfer power from the motor to the mobility assembly to provide mobility to the vehicle. In response to the drive assembly being in a second configuration, the worm gear assembly and the shaft of the mobility assembly may be decoupled, and the worm gear assembly may be prevented from transferring the power from the motor to the mobility assembly.

A suspension for a leaning vehicle having a central frame, the central frame having a first longitudinal axis. The suspension includes a carrier assembly pivotably attached about a second longitudinal axis to the frame, the carrier assembly including a carrier body; a first spring and damper assembly pivotably mounted to a first side of the carrier body at a first end thereof; a second spring and damper assembly pivotably mounted to a second side of the carrier body at a first end thereof; a first bellcrank pivotably mounted to a first side of the carrier body at a second end thereof, the second end of the first spring and damper assembly also mounted to the first bellcrank; and a second bellcrank pivotably mounted to a second side of the carrier body at a second end thereof, the second end of the second spring and damper assembly also mounted to the second bellcrank; wherein the first and second bellcranks are pivoted about their attaching axes when the spring and damper assemblies are compressed; a pair of first upper connecting components; a pair of first lower connecting components; and a first suspension travel link and a second suspension travel link.

A riding lawn care vehicle () includes first and second drive wheels (), a steering lever (), a brake assembly (), and a mechanical brake linkage assembly () including a cable tensioner (). The brake assembly () may be operably coupled to at least one of the first and second drive wheels () to enable brakes to be selectively applied to the first and second drive wheels () based on a position of the steering lever (). The cable tensioner () may be configured to activate the brake assembly () relative to the at least one of the first and second drive wheels () in response to the steering lever () being moved outwardly to an outboard position. The mechanical linkage assembly () may be configured to provide a greater amount of rotation of the cable tensioner () than a magnitude of rotation of the steering lever () when the steering lever () is moved from the inboard position to the outboard position.

Lawn care vehicle brake system with improved brake cable actuation

A cable accumulator for a plurality of input cables and at least one output cable includes a bracket and a carrier member slidably coupled with the bracket. The carrier member includes a frame having a first end and a second end. The second end of the frame is coupled to the at least one output cable. A plurality of connecting members are slidably coupled with a pin member. The plurality of connecting members slide relative to the pin member independently of each other. Actuation of any one of the input cables causes the respective connecting member to pull the pin member to slide the carrier member relative to the bracket and to actuate the at least one output cable. Further, the respective connecting members coupled to non-actuated input cables slide relative to the pin member in response to actuation of any one of the plurality of input cables.

A riding lawn care vehicle includes a frame to which at least a first and second drive wheels are attachable. The vehicle further includes a brake assembly operably coupled to the first and second drive wheels to enable brakes to be selectively applied to the first and second drive wheels. The riding lawn care vehicle also includes a steering assembly with first and second steering levers. First and second steering levers are operably coupled to first and second drive wheels respectively to facilitate turning of the riding lawn care vehicle based on drive speed control of the first and second drive wheels responsive to positioning of first and second steering levers. First and second steering levers are also operably coupled to the brake assembly to activate the brake assembly in response to one of the first or second steering levers being rotated about a vertical axis of the respective lever.
