A method of operating a transport refrigeration system including: detecting, using one or more sensors, operational data of a transport refrigeration unit and a power supply system configured to provide electricity to the transport refrigeration unit; receiving external data; determining a recommended adjustment command based on the operational data and the external data; and adjusting an operation of at least one of the transport refrigeration unit or the power supply system based on the recommended adjustment command.

Proactive adjustment of transport refrigeration units

A transport refrigeration system including: a transport refrigeration unit configured to provide conditioned air to a refrigerated cargo space of a transport container; a fuel cell configured to provide electricity to the transport refrigeration unit; one or more supplemental power sources configured to provide supplemental electricity to the transport refrigeration unit; and a power management module configured to manage the electricity and the supplemental electricity provided to the transport refrigeration unit, wherein the power management module is configured to detect a condition of the transport refrigeration unit that requires supplemental electricity and provide the supplemental electricity to the transport refrigeration unit from the one or more supplemental power sources.

Hybridized fuel cell transport refrigeration units

A wireless charging system includes a power supply, a plurality of wireless charging transmitters adapted to be mounted on an underside of a surface, and a power distribution system adapted to connect the plurality of wireless charging transmitters to the power supply. Ecosystem for surface-based wireless charging system

A power distribution system includes a plurality of power distribution modules connected to at least one power supply and configured to receive power therefrom. A power distribution bus connects the power distribution modules of the plurality of power distribution modules in parallel. The plurality of power distribution modules executes a distributed system policy management protocol over the power distribution bus to control a supply of available power from the at least one power supply to loads connected to USB charging ports of the power distribution modules.

Power distribution system

An electrical pop out device has an shroud and a pop out housing configured to be inside the shroud in a retracted position and to extend outside the shroud in an extended position. A guidance mechanism connects the pop out housing with the shroud and allows movement of the pop out housing with respect to the shroud between a retracted position and an extended position. The electrical pop out device includes an electrical connection for powering an electrical/electronic device in the pop out housing and/or charging a battery of the electrical/electronic device in the pop out housing. The electrical pop out device may also include audio, video and/or data connections for the electrical/electronic device in the pop out housing. In some embodiments, the electrical/electronic device is portable and the pop out housing is detachable from the shroud.

Electrical pop out device

A power station includes a connection box with at least one receptacle and a wireless power transmitting assembly operatively connected to the connection box. The wireless power transmitting assembly is adapted to transfers wireless power. A power cord may be connected to the connection box to supply power to the connection box and the wireless power transmitting assembly.

Wireless power stations

A portable charger tray includes an internal rechargeable power supply and a first wireless power transmitter connected to the internal rechargeable power supply for wirelessly charging a portable electronic device. A wireless power charging system includes the portable charger tray for wirelessly charging the portable electronic device and a dock for charging the internal rechargeable power supply of the portable charger tray.

An electrical pop out device has a shroud and an outlet housing. The outlet housing is sized to be placed inside the shroud. A guidance mechanism connects the outlet housing with the shroud. The guidance mechanism includes multiple rack gears and multiple pinion gears. The outlet housing is moveable with respect to the shroud along a direction defined by the rack gear. A spring connector electrically couples the shroud to the outlet housing.

A customizable bus system includes a system module containing one or more accessory modules and is easily mounted along a surface in a workspace, such as the underside of a cabinet. The accessory modules provide conveniently located utility services and applications such as power, lighting or media connections, and may be interchanged within the bus system to provide particular services and applications where they are needed most. Additionally, the bus system may include a control center for controlling the operation of one or more of the accessory modules, such as manually or automatically. The bus system may also include multiple housings that are functionally linked, such as by a connector module having couplings for mechanically linking with housings and providing electrical or other connectivity between the housings.

Additionally, the bus system may include a control center for controlling the operation of one or more of the accessory modules, such as manually or automatically. The bus system may also include multiple housings that are functionally linked. Additionally, the housings may be integrated with the applications and take the form of a modular stick, which can be easily installed to provide a service or application in an area, or removed and replaced by a modular stick having another desired service or application.
