A roadside delineator device that includes a breakaway shear pin feature that allows the upper portion of the device to break away from the lower portion of the device during a vehicular accident. The upper and lower halves can be reconnected by replacing the broken shear pins.

An embodiment can include a lamp safe system that includes an inner casing and an outer casing, lampshade or lamp body, which can be removably attached to an outer casing though a outer body attachment device. An inner casing can include a first wall, second wall, and third wall that can be removably attached to a safe door. An inner casing can have a male flange. A inner casing can have a door with a lock removably attached. An outer casing can substantially surround an inner casing. An outer casing can have a female flange. An outer casing can have an air spring attached to it through a clevis, which can be attached to an inner casing. A inner casing can slide on alignment track which can be attached to both an inner casing's first wall and third wall, and outer casing inner surface. An electrical system can provide a user with information on a lamp safe system.

Lamp safe system

An embodiment can include a lamp safe system that includes an inner casing member and an outer casing member, a base member, a lampshade, a lamp body, and a base member. A inner casing member can move in and out of an outer casing member, and a lamp body member can be placed over and removably attached to an outer casing member. An inner casing member can include two or more walls, and a top surface and a bottom surface. An inner casing member can have attachment points for a lead, screw, a lead screw nut, and guide rails. An inner casing member can have a locking mechanism that can keep the inner casing member inside an outer casing member and lamp body. An outer casing can substantially surround an inner casing. An outer casing can have attachment points for an inner casing member to move in and out of through guide rail supports An inner casing member can move in and out of an outer casing member through a motor rotating a lead screw. An electronic controlling member can have a microcontroller that can be connected to a smart phone and can allow a user to send and receive information from a lamp safe system.

A tattooing device is designed for ingraining a design on the skin. The tattooing device includes an electric drive motor with a rotatable motor pin. The motor pin defines an axis of rotation. A rotatable actuator cam is operatively connected to the motor pin, and comprises a cam post axially offset from the motor pin and the axis of rotation. An elongated drive shaft is operatively connected to the cam post, such that rotation of the actuator cam effects simultaneous substantially linear reciprocating movement of the drive shaft. A needle assembly is operatively connected to the drive shaft, and adapted for carrying a pointed tattooing needle for penetrating the skin.

Electronic tattooing device and method

A method for identifying the level of fetal risk during labor comprises monitoring at least each of the concurrent clinical parameters of (a) FHR, (b) baseline FHR variability, (c) FHR accelerations, (d) FHR decelerations, and (e) maternal uterine activity, to determine whether each parameter independently exhibits at least one non-reassuring characteristic, and indicating a present level of risk to the fetus corresponding to the number of the concurrent clinical parameters (a) through (e) that are simultaneously, independently non-reassuring. An apparatus for implementing the method comprises at least one computer operative to receive input signals indicative of at least FHR and maternal uterine activity in a patient. The computer is operative to determine from the FHR baseline FHR variability, FHR accelerations, and FHR decelerations, to determine when any one or more of the parameters (a) through (e) each exhibit at least one non-reassuring characteristic, and to determine a present level of risk to the fetus corresponding to the number of the parameters (a) through (e) that are simultaneously, independently non-reassuring. At least one output operatively connected to the at least one computer indicates the determined present level of risk to the fetus.

Identifying the level of fetal risk during labor

A method for quantifying the extent of human-introduced variability in medical test data relative to one or more standards for comparable medical tests, the method comprising the following steps: providing user medical test data; comparing the user medical test data against one or more standards for comparable medical tests to determine the extent of deviation of the user medical test data from the one or more standards; and generating a variability-value corresponding to the maximum absolute percentage deviation of the user medical test data from the one or more standards over a predefined operating range of values for the one or more standards.

Method for quantifying the extent of human-introduced variability in medical test data

A base shoe that uses a simple internal clamp system that makes initial installation and removal a very simple process. This system eliminates the need for grout and costly wedge systems. Stainless setscrews are mounted in one of the vertical legs of the base shoe and spaced at some interval. The stainless setscrews exert force on a stainless steel and neoprene compression plate, which exerts force on the glass panel. The opposite side of the glass panel then seats against a neoprene compression pad/setting block. This system allows for very easy glass installation, makes minor glass adjustments very simple, and allows for glass removal with a turn or two of the setscrews. Another important feature of this design is that the end users can insert temporary panels, such as wood, that can be installed as a temporary railing while the jobsite is waiting for the glass panels.

Structural glass railing base shoe design

An inline electromagnetic tool actuator incorporates an actuator housing, an elongated armature, a tool assembly, spaced-apart return magnets, at least one drive magnet, and at least one magnet wire. The elongated armature is located inside the housing, and is adapted for reciprocating linear movement along a notional assembly axis. The tool assembly is operatively attached to the armature. The return magnets are located inside the housing, and are coaxially aligned with the armature. The return magnets have respective inward facing surfaces defining respective magnetic poles. The drive magnet is affixed to the armature, and is arranged between the return magnets. The drive magnet has opposing outward facing surfaces each of like polarity to adjacent inward facing surfaces of the return magnets. The magnet wire is coiled about the armature. When electrically charged with an alternating current, the wire creates an alternating magnetic field causing the drive magnet to bounce back and forth between repelling forces of the return magnets, whereby the armature and attached tool assembly reciprocate along the assembly axis relative to the housing.

A system for measurement of the speed and torque produced by hydraulic motors. A strain gauge-based, integral hydraulic motor speed and torque sensor is accurate in measuring the motor speed at system pressures greater than 1.4 megapascals (MPa) (203 lb./in.sup.2). The sensor can also accurately determine the torque being produced by the motor from the fluid pressure.

A machine for cutting a tubular key from a tubular key blank. The tubular key blank is mounted on a stanchion and is rotatable in respect thereto. Also, the tubular key blank is movable a limited lineal distance in respect to the stanchion. A key ejector assembly is connected with the key blank supporting mechanism to manually eject the key after the key has been cut. A cutter is mounted on a mounting assembly which is lineally movable in two directions (perpendicular to each other) in respect to the base. Measurement means in the form of a plurality of dial indicators are mounted between the base and the mounting assembly to accurately ascertain the extent of movement of the mounting assembly in respect to the tubular key blank. A decoder mechanism is mounted on the base which is to be used to measure the length of grooves already cut within a tubular key permitting that key to be duplicated within the tubular key blank mounted within the key supporting structure.
