Renewable geothermal energy harvesting methods may include distributing at least one working fluid from a ground surface into thermal contact with a subterranean geothermal formation; transferring thermal energy from the geothermal formation to the working fluid; distributing the working fluid to the ground surface; and distributing the working fluid directly to at least one thermal application system. Embodiments generally disclosed herein include a computer-implemented method for monitoring and correlating network traffic data associated with a primary network that is in communication with a plurality of secondary networks. The method generates a network traffic data set by monitoring network traffic between the primary network and the plurality of secondary networks. An electronic candle produces light using light emitting diodes (LEDs) or other electronic sources of light, rather than a flame, and is intended to operate the LEDs in a fashion that simulates a burning candle. The electronic candle includes a base and LEDs within a bulb and surrounded by a dome to provide a diffusing effect for light generated within the electronic candle. A memory accessible by a processor contains stored programming instructions causing the LEDs to illuminate under control of the processor, in accordance with particular modes of operation, varying from one mode to another after brief periods of time and in a random way. Each mode defines an apparent flame position having a radial position, angular position, and intensity of the simulated flame.

Implementations described and claimed herein provide a system and methods for balancing network loads across distinct provider networks. In one implementation, a virtual network representative of at least a first provider network is established having at least one interconnection point where network traffic is exchanged between the first provider network and a second provider network and having at least one provider edge port and at least one potential interconnection point. A measurement of a bandwidth between the at least one provider edge port and the at least one interconnection point is obtained. A measurement of a distance between the at least one provider edge port and a geographically closest of the at least one potential interconnection point or the at least one interconnection point is obtained. A network load indication for the first provider network as a function of the bandwidth measurement and the distance measurement is obtained.
