The present disclosure provides a composition. In an embodiment, the composition includes a pest repellent, a barrier polymer, and an ethylene-based polymer. The barrier polymer has a melt temperature, Tm, from 175° C. to less than 270° C. The barrier polymer is selected from the group consisting of one or more polyamides, one or more polyesters, and combinations thereof. Also disclosed is an irrigation tube having an annular wall. The annular wall is composed of the present composition.

Process to form a tile using low temperature heat lamination

An ethylene-based resin comprising a high molecular weight component and a low molecular weight component, wherein the high molecular weight component comprises an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer or ethylene homopolymer, and has a density ranging from 0.940 g/cc to 0.960 g/cc, and a high load melt index (I21.6) ranging from 4 g/10 min to 15 g/10 min, and wherein the ethylene-based resin has: an overall density ranging from greater than 0.955 to less than or equal to 0.970 g/cc, an overall melt index (I2.16) ranging from 0.5 g/10 min to 7 g/10 min, and less than 0.2 vinyls per 1000 carbon atoms.

Ethylene-based resins for closure applications

Disclosed is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) composition that comprises at least a first high density polyethylene component having a density of 0.940-0.968 g/cmand a melt index Iof 0.5-10.0 dg/min and a melt flow ratio (flow index Iat 190&#xb0; C. divided by melt index Iat 190&#xb0; C.) of at least 25. A second HDPE component may be included in the composition with melt index Iof greater than 10 dg/min and melt flow ratio of 30 or less. The disclosed compositions are suitable for use in living hinge closure applications.
